Good for Gabby! IMO, she was the POY, especially for the AAC. Lou and Collier had great seasons, but Gabby was the X Factor this year.

I think if Morgan had stayed there would have been a completely different "feel" or motivation to this team. If Morgan stayed, there would have been much more talk and pressure on UCONN to be back in the mix for a NC. This year without Morgan, there was not much talk of them being NC...

EDD is a special player for sure, and a great pick. My concern is with Stef... Stef is a fantastic role player, she's not a star like EDD. Stef needs to find a team that utilizes her well. A team like Minnesota.

Maybe Parker, Nneka, Diggins, etc are still up for official alternate spots? This select team seems like a great way to show loyalty to USAB but it doesn't say they are first in line as alternates in case of injury to a current roster player.

i have to admit, I love Whalen. She's my favorite non-uconn player, but yeah she was banged up last year and this year looks better but maybe not where she was 4 years ago. I think it just comes down to the fact that Geno trusts her. After all, minny is undefeated.
