    AJ Storr to Kansas

Could very easily go the other way, but that team feels like a powder keg. Way too many me guys with Storr probably at the top of that list now.

    Transfer portal (2 choices)

Voted like but would add I'd prefer a one time waiver as opposed to unlimited entries. Grad school or coach leaving would not constitute use of the one time waiver

Who is going to be the #2 brand in the Big East for the rest of the decade?

I'm going Georgetown. Cooley will get it rolling in the next year or two, it might be the biggest sleeping giant in the sport right now. The only thing that makes me question them is the arena, it will take a ton of people to make that place imposing.

Big East - Big 12 Challenge Going Away After This Upcoming Season

I think the big east should reach out to the mountain west for a new challenge. Multiple mountain west coaches have said they are trying to model their conference after the big east and they have some great home court environments. Obviously not as lucrative an option as the the P3 but think it...

    Favorite play of the season?

This was my favorite as well. The other was more a combo play but I'll list it as Stewart's third three against Marquette. Sealed the BE tournament and if our eighth guy is going to just do that to win the BE tournament that was when I felt this team was near unstoppable.

    Hummel hosted Natty coverage

I was sitting in the section next to them was there Saturday too, Rudy was on for quite a while. Robbie took a ton of pictures with Purdue fans seemed like a good guy

Ranking college basketball's 10 best jobs

I think Kobe is right on this unfortunately any school not positioned as a Power 2 school has a degree of uncertainty to it. Even Duke with the size of its brand if UNC bolts and that rivalry diminishes could take a step backward. I wouldn't be Kobe confident hanging in the Big 12 which is...

    Shaheen Holloway to Louisville?

I like Shaheen but this seems like a premature move for him hope he sticks around a couple more years and then maybe moves to a big job unfortunately don't think he'd be successful there at this stage of his career

    Newton AP First-Team All-American

From the conversations around him last January to where he is now just unbelievable what a warrior. Well earned Tristen!!

Let's not worry about who's in the bracket.

First of all doomed, but secondly I'll say I actually don't mind our draw. My biggest concern going in was getting what I would consider a high variance team early in the bracket. Let's say Kentucky, Bama, or Duke was the four in our region if Auburn plays those teams 10 times each maybe they...

    First NIL basketball tournament

I'm probably wrong but I love this, I see this is a small way to help level the playing fields a little from the power 2 conferences. UConn basketball is a big brand tournaments like this will want big brands which means UConn will consistently play other big brands. If the MTE we play in each...

    It's Official - Hassan Diarra wins 6POTY

Such a unique 6th man. Generally the award goes to offensive spark plugs off the bench and sure Hass has done that on occasion but to go to a player who's primary job is come in and ferociously guard the ball is really impressive and a testament to the young man's work ethic.

How many All Big East Selections?

I was between him and Olivari for the last HM spot the real answer is he probably slots in where Castle is, but I do think Castle deserves that level of recognition he is so good defensively and advanced metrics show he may be our best player. But Castle probably just ends up FOY and doesn't get...

How would you approach the final 2 regular season games?

It's not but why not apply the same logic. I'd play the normal rotation against Marquette. If we win that game the conversation for the #1 seed in the east is over. The Providence game is meaningless and played on a court with ice underneath against a very physical team. I rest the starters...

Kolek out for the next two games

Sucks for Kolek. These types are personalities are what makes the big east great. Hope he comes back in time for NCAAs at minimum. If he does not, does he have eligibility left? He was starting to make most draft boards but a late season injury to a fringe guy, I'd have to imagine the NIL...

How many All Big East Selections?

A lot of discussion on player/coach of the year, curious how many all big east selections will UConn get this year? My predictions 1st Team Newton Kolek Carter Richmond Scheierman Spencer 2nd team Alexander Jones Clingan Castle Dixon HMs Karaban Jenkins Kalkbrenner Olivari I actually think...

Big East Weekly Honors 3/4 - Castle Comes for Carmelo

Agreed it's just balance. There may have been one or two weeks where an argument could be made but I think it was mostly right. I remember one week when I thought Cam had a case for POW and didn't even get honor think it went to Newton.

Arizona in the Final Four in Phoenix.

Booked Arizona months ago with hopes of a UConn run but just a warm weather escape if not. Definitely will be rooting against Arizona purely from a ticket price standpoint but think we matchup pretty well with them. I just hope Tenn ends up with the one out west let them and Arizona potentially...

AP Poll Week 17 (UConn #3)

Tennessee is the two seed I'd most like to avoid they have a brutal final stretch but if they win out it'll be mute they'll get the final 1 even if Zona wins out as well

Still havent heard a good answer to this question

I think Covid may play a larger role in this and not just the fifth year perspective. A lot of the players currently playing D1 played many if not most of their most formative games in front of no audience. Not saying high school gyms have the same environment as colleges but there would be a...

    UConn future bets. Part 2.

+ means it pay more than the bet +500 means it would pay 500 for a 100 bet, on the other side if it was -500 you would have to bet 500 to win a 100 in profit. Both of those bets would pay a total of 600 including your original wager.
