A little worried about his size unless Solo can win the starting 2 role and Mahaney comes off the bench in more of a Joey California role. Kid is a winner though. I’m sure he’d love to see Gonzaga at MSG this year
I thought he looked much bouncier on top of everything you noted.
Diarra’s confidence was through the roof in every big moment. He’s been hitting buzzer beaters at least since he stepped on a college court and we saw that clutch gene grow to another level this season. Really hyped to see how...
Lol cheers bro. I think they’re going to have a major identity crisis meltdown in Lexington over the next few seasons. The portal will help, but how potent of a draw will they have now? I’ve seen some astonishingly disconnected takes on twitter.
Could be a truly remarkable haul for UConn...
I want both back for sure. I said and/or with the thought that, if Karaban stays in the draft, having Andrew Hurley return would still provide some continuity, at least in the locker room and on the bench, from the last two championship teams.
Glad you found it enjoyable @bendm. OP said "Roster Hopes" and one can always hope. 13 scholarships, that's 13 players + Andrew Hurley.
McNeely is on a visit right now
Brea just announced UConn in his top 5
Traore is a highly touted, uncommitted guard (you yourself posted that the roster...

This guy Trilly Donovan-lite? I do not know, but apparently he gets good info and has locked in a Liam McNeeley to UConn prediction. Unfortunate that he’s spelled McNeely’s name incorrectly, but why should that matter? Excited to hear stories about the visit that the coaching staff puts together.
He’s gotta play Gio and show that he’s working on tactics to build attack minded football. Too many talented players to play the way we did at the last world cup, even against the best teams.
Very fortunate to get that result vs Jamaica thanks to an own goal in stoppage time.
To be fair to Samson, this was his first year playing any semblance of significant minutes since he was a senior in high school. He may never develop a shooting touch, but what reason do we have to assume he won’t make a big jump in his overall development this summer?
I like this. He’s clearly bigger than Cliff Omoruyi and has more years of eligibility. If Youssouf can make a big sophomore leap we’d have three centers to throw at everyone.
this kid reminds me of Andre Drummond. I think he’s still 16 right now. Was a standout performer in the McDonald’s All American game and could play an even split with Samson.
No way do we want Dixon.. or any other undersized players for that matter with our two lead guards being 6’2(Hass) and 6’0(Nowell).
I shutter at the thought of relying on a 6’7 center not named Adama Sanogo after 2 seasons of Clingkong protecting the rim.
Vlad Golin, Oumar Ballo, Cliff...
Nowell is really, really good. Coming in with a major chip on his shoulder from the lack of recognition he received this year, McD’s AA snub in particular.
Abraham and Nowell will both contribute next season.
2024-25 team is potentially already stacked at the forward positions with Karaban...
Versus Cooper Flagg in the Chipotle HS National Championship Game, Isaiah Abraham posted:
12 points
5/8 fg
2/2 3pt fg
4 rebounds
1 assists
2 turnovers
and fouled out in 19 minutes of play while guarding Flagg and Georgia 5* commit Asa Newell
