I like this kid. He can handle and shoot - at very tall (supposedly 6’10”). With right team around him, some strength - he might flourish in DH’s system. He is interesting to watch. Defense? Unknown. It’s a way of life here - so it can and must be learned.
We win. Please no injuries - and get some solid minutes for the bench.
I was just thinking… Danny’s son has as many NCs as JB. If we win it - and I believe we will - then DH’s son overtakes the Syracuse icon. He steps up to the TO class.
22 for 24 at the free throw line - solidifies wins. Numerically - although not very realistic or applicable - 16 for 24 doesn’t bring smiles to faces. I know that is not necessarily how the game plays out - but, it is an indicator of a move in the right direction. I’m a believer at the college...
Free throws.
We need to shoot at least 70% as the games get tougher. 10 for 18 - embarrassing. The 2014 team won every difficult game at the FT line. The ‘drive to the hoop’ won’t matter if we make 1 of 2. Just my opinion. 7 of 10 is bare bones minimum.
I love KO. He just got caught up in some personal challenges that many of us face in our lifetime. He’s still a great man. I empathize with his situation (as many of us have faced) - to one extent or another. Unfortunately, it impacted many due to the public nature of all of it. I think he is...
He made his free throws - when it mattered. That’s what I’ll remember about him helping us push past a stubborn scrappy SDSU team. I also can’t forget Hawkins 3 - when they got within 5. That was lethal and timed right. TN and JH along with Adana making his free throws - were memorable.
Duke has been ‘a rival’ and this guy seems weazely- but he is not stupid and I don’t know if he ever cheated. He, obviously, respects us and JC. That’s honest. Since Laettener we’ve done well against him. Now, he (or Duke) is not in the same world as the squid. Calipari (and wherever he is...
And continue to develop. We are getting better. I think of how they looked at Florida. We are rising. We have enough pieces to be a very difficult out. NA is getting more comfortable - obviously. This is extremely helpful. If we play well - it’s possible - in my ‘fan opinion’. The BE tourney...
Excessive physicality is an equalizer or a way to reduce the effectiveness of an opponents player. This was first witnessed (for me) back in the Lambeer/Piston days. They could get by the more talented Celtics. So they made the game a physical fight - for a variety of reasons. This sucks and...
Very different to see this team in person and up close. My take - not that anyone cares.
Florida was terrible.
out of control
less talented from a skill point of view (The only player to exert skill was the big kid #12. The rest demonstrated little bball skill imho.
FL attempted to level the...
Sat in section 05 - 50 or so feet from the UConn bench. Tons of UConn fans - wow. Hadn’t seen them play since UCF in Orlando many years ago. It was very different seeing them in person than on TV. I’m no expert but there were many noticeable things to me - about the entire game - I’ll post later...
And we’re getting better at the details. Now FT shooting… that wins or puts close games away games. Hurley knows what he doing. We have good players - this will be fun…
Paragraph 3 (team success) is an A+. At least it’s how it appears to me. (The casual fan). Selling that is the challenge. There is ton of talent there when healthy.
Watch the trajectory of the rocket itself. If magnification is possessed - watch it. It always goes out to sea (east) - never straight up. It’s not the spinning of the earth - as some claim.
I always thought ANY game was an opportunity to develop. Most notably: players, off/def schemes, camaraderie, etc… Everything (to me) is an opportunity - not just some sort of practice. I’d press the crap out of us. Why not? It appears to be a weakness in our play. Opportunities…
Dyson was huge. AJ Price (although further back) was brutal - for me. That kid was so good in HS before the neurological event - IMO. Never the same - like all neurological events.
My experience, along with others who smoke regularly, is that people are timid with salt. Additionally, sugars caramelize which can create a nice shell outside of the smoke ring - so it needs careful attention to how, when and where. Brown sugar is just molasses and white sugar so use and time...
Nice. I smoke meats once a week (so trial and error has been a way of life for me) and the only distinctly addition thing I do is brining and cumin. It’s very personal but, I have tested countless mixtures - and I taste and respond to what others like. Cumin adds another unique smokiness that...
Thank you. Zero risk is unattainable. But, risk and fear are used as weapons to influence thought and move agendas forward - whether positive or negative. Most people I know are not getting the shot(s) due to the uncovering of the truth - about it. Everyone in a free society (still) is welcome...
I know too mu
ch about it - scientifically. As a result, I won’t be getting it - not will the many brilliant, scientific and medical acquaintances I have. To each his/her own. It’s your decision - but my associates know it is far more dangerous than covid-19. Get the facts. Learn the truth...

Allow people to see what is being reported in the scientific community - and allow them to decide for themselves. Regulation of information by some some - is getting disheartening. “Crimes Against Humanity Mirror: The so-called COVID-19...
