A lost art is what it is. When I ask our summer (college kid) staff to sign for their paychecks, they print their names. They don't know how to write their names in cursive. And they want to know why they can't e-sign the log. (Because the auditors say so, that's why).
You could rent the pavilion in Churchill Park in Newington - pretty reasonable and they allow "adult beverages", there are grills, pool, restrooms, etc. Contact Newington Park & Rec for a res, if you are interested.

A warm, wonderful woman, who worked tirelessly for literacy, AIDS awareness and many other causes. A fine First Lady, but an even better wife, mother and person. RIP, Mrs. B. You will be missed!

PS - on edit - the original Billiken Rocky cites looks MUCH more like what I remember that the very strange incarnation the SLU has now...he is meant to be benevolent, not scary.

I thought Viani and her cohort did a great job. Talked the game, kept it interesting, did not blather about non-essentials, and knew when to be quiet and let play speak for itself. Hope we see them again.
