No, it wasn't her. The quality of the video isn't the best, but when you increase the quality to HD, you can tell it isn't Saniya. I can see a resemblance though. I imagine Saniya's probably too busy to go to the U16 trials for fun.
One of the guys on the beat had an article about the jersey numbers. I believe Boykin will take #35, KLS #33, and I would guess Collier would take #24 as that was her number in high school.
I found the article: http://snyuconn.com/uconn/after-memorable-2014-boykin-looks-ahead/
It's been over a week. We won the game. One of the players involved doesn't even play college basketball anymore.
I have a feeling this is going to be a long offseason.
One thing I noticed in the second video was that Jasmine Lister, one of the graduate assistants, had her twin sister next to her on the double decker. Nice to know that the UConn staff allows others in on the experience with them.
Not every player is going to be a superstar. Look at Kiah Stokes for example. She had relatively quiet freshman and sophomore seasons, but really picked up her game as an upperclassmen. Chong may be able to find a specific niche on the team like Kiah did on the defensive end of the floor.
Jim Fuller really impresses me. I like his work.
Something make me think that John won't be too broken up about leaving the beat if that's the case. He did complain a lot about the blowouts. If he can find another position soon, especially in pro sports, he probably wouldn't be too upset.
I know Mabrey was definitely clapping. I believe she is close to the Class of 2012 recruits due to USA Basketball, so I'm not surprised that she would be happy for Stewie.
Saw this on Jim Fuller's blog. The voting is open to fans from March 23 - April 4. Apparently fan votes amount for 25% of the vote. Make sure to click on the women's tab.

I don't really see it as a bad thing as long as she wants to stay eligible for NCAA play and this doesn't jeopardize that. If her basketball career doesn't pan out, this is an opportunity she'll never get again. I see no harm in letting a person enjoy their success.
I agree with your points and I also didn't like the mention of rumors of her transferring. Kiah's father has said that there has never been a desire to transfer and that he didn't understand where all those rumblings were coming from.
I'm not surprised by Tiffany's performance in the WNBA. At UCONN, she was successful as a complementary player to the likes of Maya Moore and Tina Charles. She has essentially walked into the same situation with Angel McCoughtry and Atlanta. She's never been the number one option but is still...
I meant that other teams passed on her. I understand that player needs may have been different for those other teams at the time. However, there are some players that were picked ahead of her that aren't playing in the WNBA anymore.
I'm glad Atlanta got her because she has found a team and...
One of my favorite Huskies! She was always was a solid contributor at UCONN and continues to do so in the pros. And to think she fell to the second round of the draft.
Another great article with video. Sorry if it was already posted.
