The Men still use Toscano for practice and day-to-day but play games at XL. That would be best for recruiting as well. How do you sell the atmosphere at Toscano to a recruit? You can't, but you can still sell it as a campus home base and top-notch practice facility.

I agree. The on-campus arena was supposed to ascend our program and it has done the opposite. They've essentially capped our future success. No team with a 2,500k seat arena is gonna win a championship or vy for one for that matter. Good news is the University can still fix their terrible...

Gampel sucks and XL sucks. Then we go and build new facilities for all other sports in Storrs that would be the worst in any p5 conference we were trying to get into. We might have to face facts that UConn isn't a serious school.

Fagnano is better imo. He was the first QB we had in recent memory who actually went through his progressions. Plus he's the better runner, but it's a moot point anyways with the play calling and the fact they're both not the answer to begin with.

I would start Zion the next 4 games and Tucker McDonald the last 4. Give him an audition like Casey Cochran had the year we were 0-9.

We have 2 of the top 10 guards according to PFF in Haynes and Ofori-Nyadu, Rosa, Joly, Hansen (#11 TE 21'), Cam Ross, Houston, Senn is a solid LT. There's a solid nucleus of talent. Mora just sucks at finding the rest of the pieces. It is what it is.

UConn hockey ran Ohio State out of the XL Center, 6-1 and tied them in their only other meeting.. they also played QU to a tight 1 goal game which was won with 4min left.

When the UFL existed, everyone universally mocked it.. funny thing was, its the best alternative league that's been tried in the last 15-20 years. Now everyone's developed a soft spot for the 'new' USFL and XFL?? Being as we don't have a team in either league, I hope they both fold.

Imagine if the XL Center was a 21st century facility like all the arenas all over the country? A beautiful building would energize the fanbase resulting in better attendance (especially students). Instead we're content with 2 relics but don't worry because Gampel got a new roof..

2015-2021? Idk about that. He sticks out as a guy on defense the QB had to actually account for. Another player was Cole Ormsby who had a productive senior season in 2016, but in actuality we've been devoid of any serious edge rushers since Edsall's first stint.

The transfers thus far are acceptable losses. Nobody major, yet. Hopefully it stays that way.
