Anyone have information as to whether those of us with SNY on DirecTV will actually get to see the game this week? In my case (living in southern California) the Vandy game was blacked out and Buffalo game I was treated to boxing instead of the game.

When did UConn football pre game become meaningless boxing coverage? Come on SNY this is horrible!!! Well at least they are throwing punches... Don't think the guy in the black trunks will be conscious much longer

DS- I don't think you have it right for direct tv when it comes to college sports. Pepband clarified above that it has to do with who holds the rights to the games. Since this week was @ SEC school they control the distribution. I am expecting that the rest of the SNY games will be carried...

I hope that is the case because I added the sports pack to my Directv to be able to see Uconn games and was peeved as hell that we were blacked out. If its only for this one game that is welcome news.

Does anyone know if it gets blacked out for those of us who have SNY but live out of region. In my case I have the sports pack on direcTV but live in California. The only reason I could see it getting blacked out is because I do not subscribe to gameplan. I hate having to wait until kickoff...

The only thing missing from the preview was a video tour of Al's mom's basement (aka Rutgers Hall of Fame) which coincidentally is where Al has lived for the last 20 years since graduating from RU.
