If you have a cannon you should fire it.
Our first play should be a double screen for Adams to shoot a 3. TL has been productive shooting over people in the paint. CV needs some double screens too. Mama and Whaley can rebound and improvise as can Carlton and Cobb.
It seemed like the intensity wore Oregon down at the end of the first half. While Dana got them up for the second half , they spent all the rest of their energy in 12 min. We were the better conditioned team. They were cocky and had an easy time of there first 4 games and were at home to boot...
Whaley is IMHO, a stud in progress. In a 40 game season he led his highly regarded prep squad with 22p/gm including 38 at
PSA. Everyone who coached, played wjth or against, or watched him over time raves about his skills, attitude
and potential.
A true under the radar gem.
Remember the scene in Pet Detective where the the monks celebrate insanely as Jim Carey leaves? That's what it will look like in recruiting circles if Cal leaves CBB.
See something wrong with Josh Carlton's profile? We'd love an assist, just let us know about the error and we'll get right on it.

Cobb appears to have lots of natural ability and if he works hard in practice, S&C, and the classroom he will
get better & better the more he plays. Which brings me to another subject, CV's work habits. Reportedly CV
was a gym rat last year and worked very very hard on all aspects of being a...
Shortly after the season ended Purvis said "it's all fake love now". I never saw any further discussion on this disturbing tweet. What followed was the shake up of the staff and players. Maybe the AD had enough of the warm fuzzies and wanted a tougher more secular tone on the team. More Full...
Right now we have 12 guys that want, deserve, and need PT. Adding a 5th year transfer will only make KO's job harder. To get a really good 5th year transfer he'd
have to promise significant if not starter's minutes which can detract from the development of current players. I love the team...
I watched the game tape on Cobb and the announcers said he had missed the previous game with a bad ankle. He seemed kinda balky and maybe that was the ankle not his appearing to be out of shape.
His resume also includes a brief stint in player development of the formerly-named Charlotte Bobcats. One of the points of pride listed in Killings’ Temple biography is his role in the development of UConn great Emeka Okafor.
Our front court has really stepped up this year...no?
Killings has, as noted in this thread, a great recruiting reputation plus it's also hard to ignore that his hire roughly coincides whith the team's turn around.
"When Rodney spots up for three it feels like spinning a dreidel and hoping you get gimel.
I want to know what happened to the guy from last year."
"Yes, he was cold last year, with games of multiple misses, but there were times when he hit 5 straight 3s"
A big maybe of speculation here...
I'm a few months short of 70 years and dealing with Liver cancer and other issues but I've found a peace that passes understanding from my faith, and each day can be a journey of understanding when I let it be. I'm praying for you Rich.
