My buddy was FotG yesterday as he and we were on the jumbotron a lot.
A rep came to him and handed the card and asked to hold it up when they ran the FotG graphic over him cheering away.
Same $5.00 cards as the ones they hand out en masse in the parking lot at the football games.
Sorry if this is cross-posted but I did my due diligence to search and see it it was previously mentioned.
Pretty interesthing stuff going on in here for a new MSG site/building and some ideas for Penn Station...
There weren't many but those were some damn good times so close in our backyard.

Just got this e-mail and survey from UConn.

They are trying to root out how ESPN+ and potential loss of SNY is going to affect viewership.
I don't know if good or bad to post here.
Or if this link is unique to my...
Looks like I'm going to this.
One of my remote sales person coworkers is a proud IU Alum much like me with UConn.
We've had our football series on the radar since it was announced.
Met today and a plan is forming to do some sales visits in the area the week leading up to it.
He's looking to...
Up to four on what's left with code HEALTH.
No charge.
Sorry if this should of been posted on the Tickets board.
Figured to go right to the source in here to hit the masses.
and promoting it like it's the game of the year only to be heard on some version of "Hartford's 50,000 watt sports leader" commercial bumper.
"Big 12 Champion..." was also mentioned to carry some weight to the nobody in the state who will tune in to listen to it.
It immediately made me sad...
I work in the hockey and athletic trainers markets and come across some neat things from time to time.
An invitation to a Canadian University Athletics trade show came my way today and this map blew my mind.
It's always amazing how focused we are with college athletics and conferences here...
Better get used to this commercial as we hopefully progress through the tournament.
Since I posted I'll start.
I just turned 42 (Class of 97) real years old but I suspect I am at least 87 TeloYears old from watching all these years of UCONN sports craziness and the 129 Phish shows I've seen...
I took my 11 year old son and we had a blast.
UCONN defeated #11 UVM 3-1.
Great crowd, lots of energy and plenty of action.
First time in the Civic Center for a hockey game since the Whalers left.
It gave me chills hearing Brass Bonanza again blasting throughout the place.
We'll be going...
The line about being nowhere ready for an on campus rink stood out to me from the Jacob's 'Sports Venue Projects' article in the Hartford Courant today.

Sorry if linky does not worky. Here's the line.
"At any rate...
This is a stretch but all of the little things like this seem to be pointing to something.
A nice article in today's HC about helping Chinese students at UCONN adapt to American ways and crossing the cultural divide.
Then it takes a left turn talking about the B1G and what member schools...
I am looking for a good UCONN license plate frame for my new CX-9.
Preferably chrome.
The internet is littered with them but its hard to tell quality.
Not looking for Alumni, or any of the sports/championships.
Just a good solid plate that has any elements of UCONN, University of Connecticut...
This is an interesting cultural perspective map of the U.S. for all of you fellow CR nuts.

My son and I were dropping off some Pex tubing to my cottage in Dayville (Alexander Lake) today to change the copper pipes that befoul us every year when we open the place.
We take Exit 69 (hehe) to 74, 44, 101 for Dayville.
Anyhow, on the way home we drove by Exit 68 eastbound around 11:15 am...
I took my son to Hartford today for the parade.
We arrived and I spoke with a shopping cart vendor at the start and he said that they got stuck with "dozens" of 2x ones from last year.
That combined with the low expected turnout and no one supplied any pennants.
Mentioned that there might be...
Before the game last night I pulled the trigger on three $8.00 Section 221, Row H tickets through Easy Seat.
This was a total hedge of a bet, but if UConn makes it, I'll be inside cheering in my way less than face value Championship Game seats.
For reference, those seats are $60.00 face...
The Johnson Brunetti one around 7:20ish.
I won this morning and got 2 tickets to Gampel next Thursday to Senior Night against Memphis.
I turn 40 next Wednesday so this was a nice gift for myself.
Does anyone know where the seats are in Gampel?
Section, chair back, etc?
I think I will be...
The new conference championship game at 7:00 pm on Tuesday night is going to be a lot of fun.
I'll be at Sliders in Berlin that night.
Stop by and I will buy you a beer.
We can cry together.
And maybe I'll stay to watch the MAAC Championship.
Is full of all of you naysayer doom and gloomers after today.
Hola.
I am ElGuapo, first time poster and 8 month lurker.
1997 UConn graduate.
This recent malaise brought me out of my cave.
F@ck the ACC.
We don't need 'em.
They are about to get screwed and we will watch from the sidelines...
