Geno is the wild card next year. This is the deepest team he has ever had; meaning very talented players all the way down the lineup. He has never been comfortable with this situation.
You did not understand my point. In no way does she compare to Maya and Diana. Geno preaches playing time depends on how you practice; but that "rule" does not refer to the stars on the team.
I am tired of hearing that if you don't practice well you don't play. Do you think Diana or Maya had great practices????? Q needs to play some minutes to rest the others.
The Albany games are March 29- April 1. Two games on the 29th and two games on the 30th and one game on the 31st and one game on the first. Does this mean if UConn is there they will play on only two of the days. Does anyone know exactly how it will work with more teams at these sites?
I know this will be unpopular, but I think without any injuries to other players she would have been near the end of the bench if not on another team somewhere. Geno does not and has never played a lot of players unless forced to do so. I am very happy for Nika and love watching her play, but...
I agree. I don't think they had a lot of interest in this job. Next year could be at best mediocore. They will lose some good players. I wonder of Brandi Poole was interested?
Are Piath Gabriel and Amari DeBerry also hurt or is Geno still too stubborn to play them for a few minutes? It can only help to give them some experience. Ducharme probably would be a just a bench player if we were healthy all year.
Is this the same player that Geno would not play in the beginning because he said she was not ready. When will he take some responsibility about making the wrong calls on some of these players. He just is not comfortable with playing more than eight players.
Call the SUN office. I think they are confused also. CT doesn't completely open until May 19th, so maybe the tickets before then are taken by season ticket holders. I checked the first several home game and it says the same thing, it is sold out. I do not think that is the case.
Geno is at best a mediocre coach in close games. In losses like this he always points his finger at the team and never, never takes any of the blame. He is an excellent recruiter so he isn't in this position too often because he gets really good players to come. I believe this is his forth...
