We ordered ours from Providence College, because I didn’t see the mail sent from UCONN. And I would have stayed home rather than pay Ticketmaster prices. $110 plus one $10 processing fee. Great seats in section 25.
I agree! I am a season ticket holder at both venues, and Gampel WAS packed on Saturday. Geno has stated that he loves Saturday afternoon games for the very reason that the people come out to be entertained. If Saturday wasn’t entertaining, I don’t know what is.
Fortunately for Aubrey, unfortunately for us fans, HIPAA protects the patient as to the information that is released. UCONN cannot release any information (condition, diagnosis, prognosis) without Aubrey or her parents approval.
Order them through UCONN. Saves a ton of money on fees, etc. we’ve paid $99 +$10 fee for years, iirc. But, we have season tickets, so not sure of procedure. I think we get an email close to the end of the regular season asking if we want to order tickets for the tournament.
In Farmington, CT, on someone else’s couch (my husband’s cousin’s house). 45 minute drive from South Windsor, worth it to watch with great people that watch the game, and don’t chat through the entire game. Plenty of time to visit pre- and post game.
Yes, you can leave and re-enter. You will have to have your mobile device with your ticket available to be scanned when you leave, and then again when you return. And yes, all of the concessions are usually available the first day of the tournament. We have been to all the tournament games...
Also a short drive to Manchester is Stumpy’s, an axe throwing pub. And for upscale dining, there is Capitol Grille on Columbus Blvd, across from Convention Center.
My top four, in no particular order:
Butterscotch bourbon bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream
Lemon icebox pie
Apple pie with thinly sliced tart apples
My mom’s homemade fruitcake
Mom turns 85 this Christmas Eve, and can’t for the life of her find that recipe. It breaks my heart. I can...
Garth Brooks (pullover hoodie, I dislike t-shirts) current stadium tour version. Didn’t have the money for merch when I was younger and went to concerts more frequently.
Seen during the MCBB selection show was a Capital One commercial with none other than our own Sue Bird, along with Magic, the other Bird, named Larry, Charles Barkley and Samuel Jackson. Worth a smile!
