    Dorka and Caroline Sighting

Todd Ducharme is a VP at a technology advisory services firm in MA (viz public profile on LinkedIn). I get a ticket to a Suns game isn't the first thing a college student would buy, but it's not like that family is lacking in disposable income, NIL or not.

Fair question about Boston from a UCONN fan perspective

That term was being used willy-nilly by one UConn poster here in particular, and that poster couldn't be bothered to explain why. The thing is it implies something unique that only happens occasionally, like once in a generation. That's 25 or so years. So what makes Boston generational...

Lou Lopez Senechal to UConn! (Merged thread)

I don't get the expectations some have from the transfer portal, like it's the college version of the WNBA waiver wire. Apparently, there has to be a transferee out there who: 1. Is willing to play limited minutes 2. wants to go to Uconn and play in Geno's system 3. Able to...

OT: College coach cuts entire volleyball team

Well, it was the tone of their replies that just struck me as unusually cold. More like upper management talking about redundant factory workers than supposed educators. Hey, at least there's no pretense about character building, team spirit and all the rest of that hoo-ha. It's 'Just win...

Grambling State volleyball coach Chelsey Lucas cuts entire 19-player roster Can't say I've heard of this kind of instant wholesale clearance by a new coach in an NCAA sport before. All I can say is wow  Also, the attitude of the AD administrators at Grambling is just... ugh

A Question About Dorka. (Merged thread)

Unlike the WNBA and NBA, pro teams elsewhere in general aren't required to make their payroll, contract details and player salaries public, so the answer is 'No one knows for sure'. One website showed the average salary in the top French pro women's league at 3700 euros/ month. That's better...
