Hello to all,
I know that I haven't posted here in quite a while but a lot has gone on since the nearly nine months I last posted here. To make a long story short, besides having a full time job and three sons who are into basketball, I referee/officiate five sports and my daughter gave me the...
Maybe we'll stop seeing those "Concerned about Baylor" threads on here. A BIG congratulations to Mississippi State and especially Morgan William first and outstanding game!!!!
I think could be fatigue that played a factor or it could be that she couldn't find her rhythm. I like to place the credit for that to UCLA's game plan in the second half to be physical with Katie Lou.
I really like what Quinnipiac has done this tournament and take nothing away from them but I honestly think that South Carolina can/would/will win this game without Gray. I wouldn't rush back Gray for this game and hopefully play the next game. Staley should use the example of Coates' injury on...
Sucks for ND, but more importantly it sucks for Brianna. I know that she's had shoulder issues and was really healthy, then this happened. Get back healthy Brianna.
Frese and Maryland can say all they want right and we'll deal with them when that time comes (perhaps not if Duke wins). But I'm focusing on Syracuse right now. I know Geno has his ladies doing the same.
Good for her. To get a chance to showcase her talents in front of family and friends.
I'm going to make an early prediction that Gabby gets a triple double :D.
I was once told that the ultimate compliment to a referee was not being noticed by the fans, who come to watch the players play. This board and a couple of others prove that when the refs are noticed, it's not a good thing.
The officiating was horrendous on both sides. It also messed with the...
I actually feel bad for the HBCU's that make the tournament. They're just good enough to beat the other teams in the MRAC and SWAC but not even close to being competitive outside the leagues.
Of course there's love from me as she played really well today. Seems like that ankle/foot injury is behind her. Good for her and great for Connecticut.
The only thing I could think of is that she/her parents just wanted to make sure that's where she wanted to go and maybe not have any second thoughts.
I always would want a recruit that is absolutely sure about their decision rather than committing because of the "high" of their most recent visit.
Just because Geno said these statements means he agrees with you or the "whiners". Just about everyone who follows the Connecticut ladies knows that he motivates by any means necessary. Those statements are motivation tactics, to remind his ladies that they haven't won anything yet.
He needed...
I say bring em on. This is why Geno scheduled the tough out of conference games. To prepare for whatever comes their way. I agree with you on Maryland though. No way a third ranked team should be a third seed regardless of schedule. If they felt that way, then why ranked them third overall? Even...
I picked Notre Dame "for now" and that's based off of Creme's bracketology. He has Maryland and Washington in the region and they are two really tough teams. I'll revisited this after Selection Day to give my final choice.
Geno always said that if his ladies play their "A" game, they will be unbeatable. What made this game remarkable was that it was the third game in three days/nights and they looked as fresh and energized as can be. Last night they played their "A+" game, especially on defense. Matter of fact, on...
