We've had a lot of slow starts. I don't like falling behind early but what usually crushes other teams seems to focus our team, that's good coaching and experienced resolve. Yeah, a good defensive player may be able to shut down one or two of our guys but we play a kind of team ball you rarely...
As someone said previously, opposing fans now know they can get under his skin and get a reaction out of him. This could lead to further escalation and situations where bad things happen.
Been watching since the 1970's and I have to agree. The gam eon Saturday was a matchup of top 4 teams in the country. UConn looked like the Harlem Globetrotters out there it was so lopsided...
The best teams can lose and the Tournament has it's own magic but if we play like we've been playing...
I didn't like it. Food was plentiful but not great. Get off on an island and face 200 people wanting you to buy their trinkets. On the boat the rooms were tiny and too many people. Never again, for me.
It's so nice to have someone who actually remembers what happened with the whole Patriots to Hartford move. It was in all the papers and happened just like FfldCntyFan said but there are always so many "Kraft screwed Hartford" revisionists out there...The CT Legislature fumbled the Patriots to...
Meltdown? 50% want to stay in the BE, 40% have been around long enough to just feel a dull numbness...the other 10% may melt-down but in 5 years when the next round of CR emerges, they will join one of the other two groups...
Read this thread from the beginning to review our realignment history. We are Charlie Brown kicking a football...I don't think any team in the country has been screwed over more by CR (some of it self-inflicted) than we have...
Not official as far as I can tell but pretty close! Does this move the needle for Soccer in the US?

Agreed, there's so much $ in the Big 12 because of Texas/Oklahoma. Substitute those two team for UConn/Gonzaga? Yeah networks won't be chomping at the bit...
I was at Dicks in Manchester, tables and tables of stuff and it looks like they are having players there this weekend (Clingan, Hawkins, etc) to sign autographs. I prefer the poly blend styles at breakingt.com so I ordered there.

In the post game exuberance a lot of people lost sight that we shot pretty poorly and were helped by the fact that Gonzaga had one of the worst shooting efforts I've ever seen. Even uncontested shots yielded airballs from them. We shoot like that again and we don't make it past Saturday.
Agreed. We had 1st rounders but Calhoun could never quite get them to play as a team, just 5 incredible players. I kept waiting for them to put it together that season but they never quite did...
They still say GM beating UConn was one of the biggest upsets in the tournament. Not likely. GM...
"That put them in the regional final against 2004 champions and regional top seed Connecticut. The Patriots trailed by as much as 12 during the first half, and by nine early in the second. However, they would storm back to make the game close the rest of the way. Larrañaga would motivate his...
Are you unaware of our history of playing defacto Road games in the NCAA Tournament? I'd much rather play a neutral game and will be rooting hard for Miami.
My only anxiety about this team is that we look good when we have all the momentum but when someone squares up against us and shots don't go in we tend to get super tight. If Hawkins starts missing and Sanogo gets into foul trouble against the Zags, look out...
We've got the pieces for a Final...
