I can't disagree. I think the national perception of UConn is a bit unfair and inaccurate but what he says here isn't much different from talks I've had with friends around the country.
My group sits in Section 229 - One section over in 228 at the NC State game the entire Westhill (Stamford, CT) football team was in attendance. Apparently the word is getting out that on the gold coast that UConn fields a football team (I'm just being playful - I also live in Fairfield county)...
