I have to amend this earlier post. Apparently Fubo, like Hulu, only inludes SNY in certain areas per this webpage: https://support.fubo.tv/hc/en-us/articles/115005322088-What-Regional-Sports-Networks-are-available-on-Fubo-.
I have to amend that earlier post. Apparently Fubo only includes SNY in certain areas, per this webpage: https://support.fubo.tv/hc/en-us/articles/115005322088-What-Regional-Sports-Networks-are-available-on-Fubo-. So that means that there is apparently there is no way to get SNY on streaming...
Fubo's channel lineup includes SNY. Youtube TV does not include SNY, Hulu only has SNY in cetain "viewing areas" which apparently do not include Hartford, CT. Fox Sports would provide the games but is only available for cable subscribers.
I completely agree with you about #6, I also disagree with #7. I think McLean & Griffin may have difficulty getting playing time this year. I look for Edwards to make the biggest sophmore leap.
I have had season tickets to the XL Center women's games for the past 10 years or so, and the weekend afternoon games seem to have larger crowds than the weekday night games, probably because it is a better time for families/children. So I am all for the Sunday afternoon games.
It is hard to judge, because there have never been 4 super stars on one team before. With Maya, D, & Stewie, they stood out and had the spotlight all to themselves. This year that won't happen. This year the super stars are going to have to share the spotlight. I always thought KLS was the...
"Out of Position"? The right position is the position Geno puts them in, not some conventional thought about it. I am still in awe about what Geno did with Gabby in her freshman year.
"6'6" does not make Azura a center"? What does that mean? Azura is a post player, period. And from all...
I agree. OldDude makes it sound like we could really lose, and I don't see it. I have never been as sure about an undefeated season as I am this year. UCONN just has too much. Too much experience; too many weapons; too much depth. It is hard to imagine that even injuries or fouls could be a...
I know I am going to be jumped on, but it seems possible. Could this be the best UCONN team ever? Could it be the best team in the history of WCBB? Has any team ever averaged over 100 points per game? How is Geno going to keep the score down with the bench he has?
I am amazed at how similar the stats are. It is terrific to think that we could have another PG as good as Mo. Another all american point guard. Wow.
How much did Moriah improve in her sophomore year? That is, what will Crystal have to do to improve the way Moriah did?
They don't have to beat the starters; they only have to beat Louisville (Creme's 10th team). (It is entirely possible that the starters would beat Louisville by 40-50, and if so by your math the bench would also beat them.
Let me put it this way---- This year there will be many games (if not all games) where the bench will get plenty of playing time in the 4th quarter, and I fully expect that unlike some years where the lead shrinks then, this year the bench will continue to build the lead. It will be partly...
I would love to have a #8 Tennessee & #2 Stanford in our region. Wow. Exciting basketball. Huge coverage. Everyone would go crazy. Including this board.
I agree. I know it is human nature to try to give awards, like badass, to individual players, but I suggest we drop it this year. This year is unique, with each game truly a group effort. I don't think I have ever before seen a team where all of the players complimented each other this way...
And Napheesa & Gabby have both perfected their "tipping technique", which is one of the reasons they are so effective down low despite the fact that they are usually shorter than the opponent's post players. You don't have to grab a rebound if you can just reach the underside of the ball with...
There were 2 things in the article that amazed me--
1. The year after Diane T. left we lost 8 games & the year after Maya M. left we lost 5 games. Sort of puts this amazing year in perspective.
2. All of the big 4 this year have siblings or parents that played Div. I college basketball. I...
That article gives me goosebumps. There is no way we (husky fans) deserve this. No sports fans in history have had a bigger ride that we are having. It almost seems like a dream. Unbelievable. Unbelievable.
I said 80%. I think there is a good chance of running the table. I certainly think we can beat Maryland and think we have at least a 50-50 chance of beating ND. I agree with those that say South Carolina is the best team right now, and if we were playing now there is a good chance we would...
I was worried about Katie Lou this year after the first 2 games. I was counting on her to become the next Stewie to win a championship this year. It wasn't clear if she would step up her game or cruise along at the "not so great" level. Now it seems clear that she is going to have a breakout...
Yes, the Goodwin is being renovated now and will probably be considered the best hotel in downtown Hartford when it reopens. Until then, the Marriott, about 5 blocks from the XL Center, is considered the best with the Hilton, connected to the XL Center, as a close second.
Across the street: Hilton (cafe), The Russell (Bistro), Max Downtown (expensive), & Agave (Mexican, west of the XL Center). Within 200-300 ft.: On Pratt Street Sunberry (inexpensive Thai), Siam (inexpensive Thai), Vaughans (Bar with Irish food). On Trumbull, Trumbull Kitchen. On Asylum...
