The concern is people contacting our players, or any players while they are playing in the tournament. Thats a distraction and could hurt team chemistry. It shouldn’t be open until everyone is done playing.
I know you're happy to be in a conference better than the American, and better than the Big East. But since your team isn't even in, and our team is the #1 overall seed, maybe this board isn't the place to try to "rub our noses in it". Try feeling superior over on Georgetown's board.
Are they? How many teams are in the Pac next year? Two. They have a scheduling deal with the MWC and have two years to get to 8 teams. Then this will probably happen.

PC with the most Q1 wins of any team ever left out. They lost the game Hopkins was hurt in, and the next 3 before figuring out how to play without him.
If the reality is that soft scheduling and not losing any games is now the ticket, that’s what you’ll get more of. It used to be teams were...
Big East was the 2nd toughest league. ACC and Big Ten teams on the bubble got props for beating teams like Northwestern because they got in. BE teams had wins devalued because the shell game worked against them. Those mid tier BE teams beat each other up and that hurt them. But that happened in...
It means that if you’re a team from a conference that sponsors FBS football, the committee will favor you over a team from a conference that doesn‘t. Why? Because the entire NCAA budget is funded by this tournament and the football conferences are threatening to pull out of it because they...
I get that’s how they do it, they just did a terrible job seeding teams. Just like last year when we should have been a strong #3 and were seeded as a #4.
I know KU has been hot garbage lately, but Purdue gets one of the few teams with a player that can match up with Edey at #4. That wasn’t a favor but it will make for good TV.
I’m impressed that the committee payoffs are probably going to not be investigated for screwing what should be a 6 bid league in favor of some terrible programs from big football playing conferences.
A few pages back there is a tweet from Sam Veccine. Says the seeding was all done before conference tournaments. If true that explains Iowa State and Auburn, UNC as #1 and not giving Big East bubble teams credit for tournament play.
I don’t know about never, but he’s not going to Ann Arbor, Michigan. Why would he go to a weaker program both now and historically. I would think think Kentucky, Kansas and Duke are the only programs where he‘d even take their phone call. Two old coaches and one not doing so hot. Still very...
