Never having visited Croatia I was curious about traditional Croatian foods and how the team might react to them. Here's an article listing the top Croatian dishes and I have to say I didn't see many that I would pass up.

Following the Van Lith/Morris drama from last week we get another incident of unsportsmanlike conduct in the post game handshake line.

Former USF WCBB player dies of apparent suicide. A sad story of the passing of a young lady that appeared to have a lot going for her. Former USF, Freedom High women’s basketball player Neena Pacholke dies at 27
Her court date has been postponed for another month. I suspect the "wrongfully detained" designation by the state department did not help her situation. Brittney Griner's detention in Russia has been extended by a month, Russian state news reports
There are at least two Rachel Brosnahan fans on the board. According to Google Mrs Maisel returns tomorrow night on Amazon Prime. If you are a fan check her out on House of Cards.
Can we have a civil thread about what is and what isn't appropriate touching as it relates to WCBB coaches and players? I'll start -
Coach puts his/her hand on the players lower back as he/she provides guidance as in a defense drill.
Team wins the Championship on a last minute shot. Coach...
ND loses to UConn. Belay that. ND gets their ass kicked by UConn. And the icing on the cake - UTenn loses to UT. Over in orange country the knives are already out. Can the "FAHR KELLIE" posts be far behind?
Feelin' smug here. :p
Not a stellar year for UConn alums in the WNBA. Of the 18 players (surely a record) on WNBA rosters only one is in the top 25 in scoring. A typical year would see 4 or 5. Fully one third are not playing due to injury or in Moore's case a sabbatical. KLS has appeared in two games (averaging...
Tennessee is now none and done. Not since the days of Ball State has the "most elite" team in WCBB exited so early. I know I should feel soe sympathy for a once great program - but I don't. :D
There was some discussion earlier about unwritten vs written rules. Here's a couple that we are all familiar with and that I'm sure we all agree with, although they are not mentioned in the written rules. Feel free to add any others.
1. When the opposing coach runs up the white flag - pull...
From Mike Anthony in the Courant - LINK
“It's just typical women's basketball [bull], ya know?” he said. “We clear our bench, we put our subs in and all of the sudden there's a trap at halfcourt and they haven't trapped us one time the whole game. It's just dumb. It's just dumb. It's just dumb...
UConn loses? I read some posts about UConn not getting calls from the refs. It's possible that the refs were trying to even out the foul calls a bit. As it was UConn scored 21 of their 65 points from the free throw line.
I guess the USF game may have been a one off. Last night the bench played 42 minutes and took one shot! They scored 3 points. Bent and Irwin were 0-0 in 27 minutes.
Can anyone remember when UConn did not have a sixth man that they could rely on? Or when they did not have a defensive specialist that could be depended on to lock down a hot player? I don't think this team has either.
Not the score. I don't think anyone predicted a semi blowout. What was expected was that the 4th quarter would determine the winner. Who had the better conditioning? Both teams basically played 6 and in the end it was UConn that had the legs. 40 minutes for Dangerfield, Williams and 37/35 for...
Tickets at the Sun box office are $17 each for mid court, upper bowl. The only lower bowl seats still available (at the box office) were under the basket.
Collier drew a charge last night under the basket. Walz tried to argue that Collier was in the restricted arc. I think either Lobo or Lawson mentioned it but didn't elaborate on the arc rule. The replay showed that Collier's heels were inside the arc (over the line).
Does the rule require that...
