The amazing run of games without back-to-back losses will be challenged, especially this week with Depaul, Tennessee, then Villanova. As well as the South Carolina and Marquette pair of games in early February. I'm planning on UConn beating their Big East Rivals, and hope they will play well...
I remember back when the Huskies were building their program, they used to take a summer trip to Italy or some other European country every 3 or 4 years. It seemed like a great bonding experience for the team. It's been a long time since I've read about them doing that. Why did they stop doing...
I was impressed with Butler's ability to score when they played us. They have now beaten Depaul. It makes you wonder what's going on in Depaul. It seems to be putting them on the NCAA bubble. And Butler has found themselves too late to make the tournament. The Big East may only get two teams...
It seemed strange to me how Syracuse seemed to try to run the clock down in their 4th quarter possessions. I'm assuming their goal at that point was to keep UConn under 100, and not to win the game. Did it seem that way to anyone else?
I saw a graphic on the FS1 station talking up the upcoming UConn - KState game. They talked about UConn's 83 current win streak, but only a 27 game road streak. Could that be right? UConn has played 56 out of their last 83 games at home? Somehow that doesn't seem right.
why wasn't a foul called on the Florida State player who brought her arm down on the rebound that was reviewed? It was the impetus of her arm coming down on Natalie's arm that forced the ball out of bounds. I never heard anyone say that should have been a foul on Florida State. I was at Disney...
I just finished watching the SMU game (thanks for posting it). They said at halftime Stewie was going to expound on people's miconception about UConn. Since the replay didn't include the half-time show, I was curious as to what Stewie thought was people's misconception. Thanks for the feedback.
I got this link from facebook and decided to post it here on the boneyard, in case you haven't seen it yet. She is something special.

Is his thread about UConn's influence on the National Team. I went to the link he mentioned to see everyone that was participating : http://www.usab.com/womens/national-team/roster.aspx
Eight out of...
Does the team that loses the tip in the first half always get the ball to start the second half? I just rewatched the championship game and it seemed to me that UConn should have had the ball the second half. I only noticed one tie up in the first half with Kiah shortly after she got in the game...
Looking at the news links for today, I saw the following link:
"Shatel: A blueprint to make Big East great again, Omaha.com"
What do others think of his suggestion of UConn rejoining the Big East?
Personally, I never understood how UConn was booted from the Big East. It seems to be a pipe...

Sorry if it's been posted before, but this is the first I saw it.
I was watching the pre-game show and they were showing Moriah warming up. I noticed that the warm-ups had the years of the national championships listed on the sleeve. I think it says something about the program that that is what's important to them.
