My brother and I attended this game separately. He sat in the lower bowl with his college roommate who had purchased tix through St. John’s. I was in upper bowl with a friend and all UConn fans. After the game, my brother could not find the words to describe how loud the U-C-O-N-N cheer was as...
Even the south is experiencing a decline in youth football participation. Two biggest factors are the concussion problem and increased variety of sports to choose from.
The Friday night lights dim on high school football — even in Texas
Ah, so that’s what happened. I saw the BC fans laughing as JJ descended the dugout steps. I missed what precipitated their laughter, but figured they were jawing and got to him. Not JJ’s finest moment.
Going undefeated would bring more fans but it'll take a conference upgrade to get back to where we were in terms of sellouts. I miss seeing our former Big East rivals on the other side of the field. In the mean time, I'll be in my seat at all home games and play the agonizing waiting/hoping game...
Used the new seat selector today and found that it was intuitive and effective - unlike the UConn athletics ticket website in general. My buddy and I were able to move a section closer to the 50 and still retain aisle seats (his strong preference).
Thanks everyone for the replies! I contacted my ticket rep Kristina and she hooked me up with the code. Got 4 in 110-FF.
I recently changed my email address on the UConn ticket site and somehow I was dropped from the mailing for this event - didn't receive the message at either my old or new...
Question: I'm a preferred season ticket holder (pay seat donation on top of ticket cost). Does anyone here know if I am considered an athletic donor (purchase tickets today) or season ticket holder (purchase tickets tomorrow) for this game?
I assume just a season ticket holder as I didn't...
Perhaps we need a "Dear Athletic Director" thread on this board so DB and his staff can quickly locate our feedback.
We can even have Key Feedback and Non-Key Feedback threads. I keed I keed.
I watched the Navy game on an older iPad with the app and had a good experience. The stream was on a couple minute delay however. I'll cancel my subscription when the season is over.
I just hope it hasn't already happened. Not sure about you, but I walked out of The Rent after the UVA game asking myself how the heck did we win that game.
I think UConn had the ball. I remember thinking to myself, great, keep all the fans singing past the time out while we're trying to get off the play. The stadium multimedia crew had an off day on several counts. Someone already mentioned the botched recognition of the Women's championship team.
"We want to have an environment that flows," Benedict said. "We had 90 promotional reads last year. We are cutting those in half to 45 and will look to reduce those even further during games. The majority will take place prior to the game or in between quarters. We do not want to ruin the flow...
I heard Benedict on TIC this morning and it did sound like Maine game only. Diaco is going to speak at upcoming Frosh orientation to get them fired up about the football program.
17 video conferences! They must be throwing all that fancy high-cost media consultant findings out the window. So, the choice WON'T be made on data?
