@RobDauster are you planning to regularly upload these to YouTube or just stick to podcasts only? I liked seeing the vids of the former Huskies but I understand it's a bit more of a production burden to do video. I'll keep listening/watching either way, but was curious of the plan.
there’s tons of local ‘23 talent but it would be a solid national statement to pull this kid out of Georgia. Would love to see the good guys pull this one out tonight at 5
my thoughts exactly. gonna score a ton of points in college, especially if he ends up at a weaker program. lock this kid down alongside DC and Karaban.
Probably well known but his sister is Caroline Ducharme who will be a freshman for UConn WBB this coming season. I believe she was a Top 10 or maybe Top 5 recruit.
My hypothesis: They are letting Jordan have his moment, just like he let Rahsool have his moment. I’d bet the announcements end up evenly spaced out (10 days apart)
I see glimpses of Shabazz in him. Obviously not senior year shabazz yet but has a chance for that. Athletic but not explosive. Crafty with the handle and has the ability to score when not distributing. He doesn’t seem to be fully baked right now - certainly neither was shabazz when he arrived...
Obviously there’s gonna be some inflation here. I doubt it’s meant to prove his worth as a trainer but I’m sure having these photos around helps gas the kids up and gets them excited about what long term results look like.
Speaking of long term results, here’s a bunch of before and afters of...
We did North Adams last year and I’d give it a +1. We stayed at a pretty cool place called Tourists Welcome. It’s a very “hip” place and my wife loved it. It’s on the main drag which is a bit of a demerit, but otherwise a very unique spot.
I'm so bummed the clip starts rolling halfway through this possession. My favorite part of the whole play is how Bouknight actually calls off the original play-call and makes Gaffney run the alley oop instead. It was a high bb iq play AND an example of insane athleticism.
Edit: here's the clip...
Wait. Wasn’t Bouknight suspended “indefinitely” earlier this year too?
I’m not saying this is the case but it seems like we actually haven’t gotten word that this is the end of Sid’s season.
I can’t seem to find the reference but I’m pretty sure that one of the Horde’s articles (I thought Borges at the Register) announcing Springs had listed we’d be going after 3-4 players in 2020. I hesitate to even mention this because it looks to have been edited but I’m wondering if others read...
Cam Thomas strikes me as the best of the bunch - or at least at the top of my wish list. I’m continually surprised he’s not tied to the Dukes and Kansas’ of the world, but also glad. He’s a volume scorer, playing extremely high level competition and seems to gel well with other stars on the...
Is there some sort of risk or reason to not apply for the waiver? Only reason I can see not to is if you really felt strategically it made sense for him to sit, mentor and not eat up another upperclassmen’s minutes.
I went to the first Putnam game to see Akok. I didn't know it then but apparently he was a bit injured. He looked pretty cautious (which I had read as nerves) and just kind of floated and looked for 3s. It wasn't a great performance. I left impressed with a bunch of other PSA Players. Etienne...
The odds are decent that it’s neither, this weekend. Akok is done with all his officials so it stands to reason he’s more likely to decide soon. The idea that Kofi might commit during his first OV is a bit more hopeful than rational in my opinion.
I don’t dispute we’re in great shape with...
I’ve been able to convince myself that the interpretation of everyone’s cryptic messages here means we’re landing Mitchell OR it means we’re landing Akok. Either way, lately when folks start sending coded messages, we land a new recruit shortly after and I’m a happy fan. Chief said “Patience”...
It's 8:45pm on a Friday night. Get Akok and Wahab to wherever the best party is tonight and they'll forget all about Ayo and Teo's lackluster performance
On paper, I'm even thrilled if we land our backup options. It's weird not to live in a world where it's Option A or Rakim Lubin 2.0 (no offense to Rock Mom, we still <3 you).
