He's shown that he's wildly overmatched at this level.
He played 83 minutes last year and scored eight buckets. Three of them came against USF in the second to last game of the year. The other five were scattered throughout the first 4 1/2 months of the season.
Hurley has to talk him up...
What are you talking about?
UConn spends far more on basketball than Providence does - the fact that they wildly overpay for a middle of the road coach has nothing to do with what UConn should or should not be doing.
I thought it was pretty good. I thought the season suffered from too much compression - feels like some of the story needed more air and didn’t get it because they were trying to land this in six episodes. The whole lineage thing kinda got lost in the shuffle.
Tonight’s episode verged on great...
I would punch them dead in the face if they tried.
I don't think it's much of a secret. We're getting two year old news here.
Arby’s really does have the meats — all of them. Starting this month, protein fans can bulk up the fast-food chain’s $10 secret menu sandwich, called the Meat Mountain...
I think ESPN heard she was pretty funny and had some Twitter followers so they decided that they desperately needed her to grab some demographic they don't understand and now have no idea what to do with her. Kind of like Bill Simmons, but without the part in the middle where it actually seemed...
As a child who grew up before screens, I can tell you that my brothers and I had thousands of versions of baseball, football and basketball modified for playing in the house.
All of them pissed off my mother.
I don't know what wrestling has to do with the CAA.
I don't think this is a bad deal for either party, I just disputed the numbers.
As I've said, I don't think FloSports has any real skin in the game, certainly not $750,000 a year. And the CAA gets to put its games someplace that its fans can...
If you think they’re paying cash for the Big 12 swimming and diving championships, (which is what they’re broadcasting), I don’t know what to tell you. Also, their Big 10 “deal” just allows them to sell you a subscription to BTN Plus for a few more dollars than the Big Ten would sell it to you...
If you're a CAA sports fan and you have to watch your school, it's not a bad deal. That's the price of a turkey sandwich in Westchester and at least you know that your $12.50 isn't going into the pockets of the most malevolent sports media company on the planet.
There are ten CAA teams...the idea that FloSports is paying $750,000+ a year for rights that no one anywhere wants does not pass muster. My guess is that this like a Nike deal with a school. The deal is for $20M over 10 years, but $50,000 is cash and the rest is equipment where they're valuing...
She was unaware of the arrows last week.
This week, she came down with the sun behind her to burn up the boats and then she came in too low for the arrows when she went for the walls.
Apologize to the writers, grandpa.
Hardaway will work harder than Ollie did and probably doesn't have some of the personal baggage that our guy started to carry around.
Can he coach or manage a program? I dunno - we'll find out - but given that he's basically an AAU god, you knew he would be able to get players.
I actually feel bad for him - I don't think he envisioned himself writing 12 articles a week about Zion Williamson for the Forbes contributor network. It ain't an easy world for people who write for a living.
