Did Geno recruit any of them? I’m only concerned about folks Geno made offers to. If he judged them worthy and they went elsewhere… uh oh.

...Here's some news: Who has the lead for the No. 1 class? That goes to Arizona. Currently, the Wildcats have pledges from No. 8 Montaya Dew, No. 14 Breya Cunningham, and No. 21 Jada Williams. They have also hosted No. 17 Chloe Kitts and No. 16 Cassandre Prosper on official visits.

Finally, New Presser Content. Ice Brady

I’ve seen the video of her game against LJCDS (Breya Cunningham and Jada Williams) last year. A close game decided in the final seconds. Watkins basically carried her team to the win on both ends of the court. Undoubtedly a Div 1 talent. I think she’s 6’1 or 6’2” but plays much larger.

Arizona having a great 2023 recruiting year

3 big signs for the 2023 class including Jada Williams and Breya Cunningham. They look to be maybe top 4 in a few years: https://www.azdesertswarm.com/basketball/2022/8/1/23287591/arizona-wildcats-womens-basketball-jada-williams-5-star-point-guard-flip-ucla-recruiting

    Non-UConn recruiting thread

Williams is teammates with Breya Cunningham who is also committed there. She's also one of the highest profile NIL recruits since Bueckers/Van Lith (I think she's ahead of where they were at a similar time frame). At any rate, Arizona is loading up with talent. If most of their top players...

Jada Williams flips from UCLA to Arizona: Kinda makes sense considering UCLA has Jones and Rice. The second flip from UCLA to Arizona, the other was 2022 Paris Clark.

It's an interesting turn of events. Superior defense was what some regarded as the difference between M. Williams and Watkins. Now it seems to be pointing in the opposite direction. Fwiw, I heard that Jada Williams missed the last 2 games because of a knee injury. Don't know how serious it is.

Curious if you think Qadence signing means anything regarding Uconn's pursuit of Booker. My initial reaction to Q's signing was glad to get her, but at the same time thinking it might mean our odds with Booker were slipping, and that Q might have been plan B. Similar size, both pretty athletic...

100% on those 2. Catch and shoot and how to create rhythm in your shot without handling the ball is a learned skill. Doesn't look like they've worked at it much. Williams way overdoes the step back thing.

...ends up but I don't think it will be UCLA because UCLA has a ton of lead type guards already such as Kiki Rice and another coming in Jada Williams. Mikayla Williams will not have this same problem at LSU because Kim will definitely put the ball in her hands the same way she did for...

    U17 World Cup

Jada Williams who was a star on the U16 team has been a non-factor and Mikaylah Williams has really struggled as well. Judea Watkins still fills the stat sheet but she's 10-35 from the field so far. Cambridge and Booker with really good games today.

...certainly has been getting after it recently on the recruiting trail, they have some superb commitments, just inking Rice and having Jada Williams/Amanda Muse already committed for 23. Will be pretty vigorous recruiting battle to land her, that is for sure. I think the fact that she is a...

Ayanna Patterson has secured NIL representation ahead of her first season

I was also wondering about Jada Williams and Kiki Rice at UCLA. I think Williams announced her decision before Rice did, but I may have that wrong. I assume Rice will start at pg as soon as Osborne graduates (maybe even supplant her earlier) and Williams will be in her shadow for the next 3...

Ayanna Patterson has secured NIL representation ahead of her first season

Actually Jada Williams is the high school player I was thinking about with the huge social media presence. I don't get one aspect of her college choice. Both she and Kiki Rice are point guards choosing UCLA? Williams is probably the next Paige in terms of NIL money. Did Kiki choose UCLA to tap...

KK’s got a motor and a quick first step. A little like Diamond Johnson but taller. I saw a video from last year of her dominating Jada Williams in one of these meets. The great jump shot means opponents have to guard her close and then she blows by them.

KK Arnold Is Hard To Guard

There's another video, maybe for Courtside too, in which she blows past Jada Williams several times in a row. It may not be fair to judge Williams on that moment too harshly, maybe was just a bad day for her. But it really showcased KK's skills and speed against comparable talent.

Looks like she might be closer friends with UCLA bound Jada Williams. I can't find an article to explain the backstory but Williams transferred out of her Missouri HS to play with Cunningham at La Jolla Country Day this season and next. Could be some serious team building going on. ;)

Keep in mind as @EricLA peeped us to a long time ago- Cunningham is good friends with Ice Brady. There was also something in the last interview the way Cunningham talked about receiving her UCONN offer. Her reaction was very much like Amari DeBerry who said she started crying and Cierra...

For me it’s C or bust at the position post/wing. Cunningham is a post put I see her at UCLA with teammate Jada. If C chooses any place other than UConn, it would be akin to Boston choosing SC. Some might say Mikayla William but she is a guard.
