What are you most excited to see during tomorrow’s game?

I want to see Bouk to drop a 30 piece

    Tom Westerholm 2021 Draft board

I don't read this as saying he failed to be a facilitator last year. It means they want to see the ability to distribute and make the extra pass when needed. Can he be a playmaker or is he just a scorer?

2023 Recruiting  Ray Allen III (No UConn Offer Yet)

3 years before he plays a second of college basketball. Let's just allow this to play out lol

    NCAA Tournament Single Site

I honestly don't understand why you're being so whiny about it. There's close to nothing - besides not spreading the disease ourselves - that any of us can do individually to impact the format of the upcoming season. No s*** its far from what we're used to. No one thinks otherwise.

    Pitino: May Madness

I haven't read up on the Moderna news yet, but the recent announcement by Pfizer was a glorified press release. Test group less than 100 (about 90 people I believe). Not peer reviewed (yet). Hope it works, obviously!! And I hope we can figure out how to distribute widely a vaccine that needs to...

    Whaley open to coming back?

I am pretty sure I read that any players sticking around for an extra year would not count against scholarship limits. Not sure about roster size limits though. And obviously the schools would still need to fund the scholarships.

    Bouknight Highlights

I was looking around for some news & analysis of today's media day, and saw this from an NBA Draft analyst: The highlight vid he links to is awesome too, nothing we haven't seen before but really sums up James' many strengths nicely: James Bouknight | UConn Huskies

    Dodgers Justin Turner

Its not like they're hiding the fact that the Dodgers won, analysis of their victory is all over the ESPN homepage. Are you suggesting that a star player getting pulled in the middle of the deciding World Series game for testing positive for a highly contagious disease isn't a huge story? The...

Busting Brackets Top 25 Frontcourts and Backcourts

Just based on everything else I've read and seen, this absolutely tracks. If true, what an unbelievable statement about Whaley.

    OT: 5G Network?

This was exactly my logic too. I have an 8, but its physically breaking down. Just FYI, both the 12 and the 12 Pro have 5G capabilities.

    OT: 5G Network?

I don't have 5G (though I'm picking up my preordered iPhone on Friday) but from everything I've read, 5G provides a negligible improvement unless you live in San Francisco or the few other cities where millimeter wave 5G has been deployed. My phone is more than 3 years old and starting to break...

2022 Recruiting: Roddy Gayle Jr. Meeting(10/13/20)

Seems like he's mentioned Cuse in a positive light a number of times on social media, and they've been recruiting him since late 2019. Whether their view of his recruitment matches reality... who knows. They're certainly one of a few likely destinations and perhaps the favorite. All I know is...

    Official: new uniforms

The photo of Ray Allen you just posted has red trim and accents. Personally, I love a splash of red. I always thought it added something extra and the red-less jerseys from the last decade or sometimes felt a bit plain. The new ones are excellent, they harken back to our glory eras while also...

    OT: Brad Stevens

Can't disagree with this. The Celtics have looked like the better team for all or most of 3/4 games, but they only won 1 of them. Heat are playing with sky-high confidence, and getting hot shooting nights from their perimeter guys. Right now its a mental battle, and the Heat are winning it.

    Donovan Clingan talks about Hurley

I'm still adjusting to the fact that Hurley's recruiting is 1) already showing results, 2) targeting top-line guys in multiple upcoming classes, and 3) rooted in a coherent, strategic plan. The sky is truly the limit. What a change from the past, it makes me giddy lol

    Donovan Clingan talks about Hurley

New article from Jake Weingarten about Clingan's recruitment. Not a whole lot of new info, but Jake specifically asks him about Hurley. I asked him what his relationship is like with UConn coach Danny Hurley, who was one of the first coaches to spark interest in Clingan, his answer: Great. He...

Joe Lunardi Simulation for 2021 Tournament

Looks like he could be basing UConn's projected win total on us still being in the American. We've been in a few writers' preseason top 25 lists, but nowhere even close to as high as this.

    Recruiting 2022: Avery Brown

@Dunk_Comp on Twitter does great little highlight vids. They just posted one of Cliff. What a special player.

Jalen Gaffney putting in the work

Agree with everyone here re: Gaffney. He took a while to acclimate to the college game last year, but I like that he didn't force things. He let the game come to him, and eventually, it did. Next step is creating more offense. This kind of physical improvement should really help him

    2021 Recruiting: Hunter Salis update

Morant didn't just have talent, he was unbelievably good with beyond-elite athleticism and playmaking skills. Sure, if that's you, then you'll get scouted appropriately. But for other guys with "just" great athleticism and talent, Kentucky is a place where they obviously believe they can have...

Three four-star recruits in 15 days for UConn, all recruited by different assistant coaches

Three four-star recruits in 15 days for UConn, all recruited by different assistant coaches

I know some schools over-recruit, especially when they know multiple players are going to the draft. Are we allowed to extend offers to guys for the current class now that we're supposedly full up? Or are we stuck waiting until Bouknight officially declares... I guess I just don't see why we'd...

2021 Recruiting: El Ellis JUCO update

Can't say I'm totally up to speed on El's academics or the JUCO transfer process, but we're full up on scholarships. So for him to enroll in January, he'd have to pay his own way. I guess doing that for 1 semester is more likely than for a full year but it still strikes me as highly unlikely. I...

    Tre Mitchell

Not a matter of whether the students are sick (China has very few cases comparatively, at the moment) but a matter of travel. Parents won't pay for their kids to remotely attend American schools.
