Did all of those fees go to the Athletic Dept? Honest question. I'm guessing no. Warde continued to manage the dept like it was a P5 program while getting paid pennies on the dollar. If he cut sports and didn't spend the money required to run a big time program than you and everyone else...
My view on Warde, I think he served the university well. I liked what he did here. I'm happy for him that he truly did land his dream job. Freescooter, you can stop reading here.
- Realignment: I never bought the narrative that he got caught with his pants down in the Bahamas drinking Mai...
All kidding aside who would swap places with BC right now? Would you rather be a national embarrassment/laughingstock in the ACC and keep cashing checks or would you rather be right where we are in the American?
I always wondered about that house. I'm opposed to eminent domain but at what point does the owner cut bait and accept the deal? His property value had to plummet when the stadium was built.
I know that we love the backups and unknowns on this board, but IMO if we are playing Peart and Davis we are in for a long year. I know both OT's struggled last year but I do not feel comfortable with a green LT next year.
I think the biggest impacts could be on the defensive side of the...
It would suck to lose him as I think he's done a great job. That said, I really think people overvalue the impact that AD's have in the realignment game. To think that he would A) be an advocate for us and B) make a difference even if he was, is so just divorced from reality. Lastly, it's his...
I was cutting it close with a flight last week. Looked down at the odometer and it was near 100 mph without me realizing it. I wasn't weaving in and out of traffic though. Stupid move but this is a big pile of nothing.
Yeah it's ktuck's thing. I would not be interested in bringing him in. For 1 year it's not worth the risk. You don't take a flier on kids like this when you're building something long term.
It's perfectly fair to say he's not an FBS level player. I think that was fairly obvious. He'll be at a level where he can have some level of success. Don't know why that bothers some people.
I agree that he got some tough breaks here. He came through and earned all 3 years of his scholarship in the Houston game. I think he'll do well at that level.
Don't let me interrupt your fantasy.
Best comment in this thread was rich lamenting about the possibility of playing road games in OK. Solid stuff from him as usual.
