The game is at a military base. It is almost entirely a PR event related to supporting the troops, Veterans Day, etc.
And I have little doubt the military will make it a full crowd if it doesn’t happen organically.
Yeah I was wondering about that. For one you’ve got the security issue of letting outsiders on a base, but also it’s FOR the armed forces , so you want them in the audience.

They may rerun it at 2am on ESPNU but they will 100% absolutely show it live. They are not showing a tape delayed game in prime time.
Not sure they want players or coaches going until 2 or 3 in the AM. I suppose they could try keeping them on US time while there, but presumably part of the value of this is for them to go to Germany, do some touristy things, which is harder if you’re having breakfast at 2 pm.
Noooooooooooo. That will absolutely not be done. In the social media era you are not going to show an event where everyone knows the outcome.
The Olympics can sorta get away with that but even they have altered the coverage in recent years.
