It has been my experience that leaders are born and not made and "making" someone a leader can be detrimental. I am guessing that Azzi will lead more by example than by voice. That should be enough for this team.

If I were Dallas, I would shut her down for 2 weeks. Tell her to take a vacation. No basketball. In the long run, it will be better for both parties. I would do 7/9 thru 7/25. She would only miss 1 home game.

It's the worldwide trend of everything going "casual". Very few coat & tie anymore. Still a few places with just ties. I've been to casual weddings and casual funerals. I'm 59 and to me, going casual to events that, IMO, deserve respect is disrespectful.

Didn't the settlement just say each school gets $20.5 million and they can distribute it as they see fit? If that is truly the case, the ruling is not a Title IX violation. You would hope the judge already took this into consideration. Appears to me you would have to wait until the schools...

I agree. Paige is the only player to average more that 30 minutes this past season and she did 30.3. With the depth at every position and the weak BE, I would be surprised if anyone averaged more than 30. I think 2-3 players 25+ and 3-4 players 20-25 and a lot of players in the 10-15 range.

Why do you do this? It serves not purpose. Even as a general statement, he will be correct 99.9% of the time. What person playing a team sport doesn't want to start? You don't have to have first hand knowledge of something to know it to be true, or to be 99.9% true.

It's not about the players. It's about how much money the public/fans are willing to spend on the players. When the public/fans start spending the same amount of money on the women as they do on the men, the salaries will become much more equal. Unfortunately it will probably never happen.

Why do so many people get worked up over a ranking based on opinion? It means nothing. WCBB is still very top heavy. It would not surprise me if this past season's top 8 (1 & 2 seeds) are the same as next season's top 8 (1 & 2 seeds). Just mixed up a little. Ranking & seeding mean nothing.
