If this happens in conjunction with the media deals expiring, then it really doesn’t matter. The same way the Catholic schools left The Big East, schools from ACC and Big 12 could form their own league and leave some schools out.
Academics/Intl students is a bit of a reach. Duke/Cameron would have similar struggles but they don’t.
