The top 4 teams in the conference are basically set. I would like to play Xavier in the 1st round of the tournament as they lack a #1 pitcher. Both Creighton and SJ have two solid starters, then a massive dropoff. We have 4, which is a big advantage…if we can win that first game.

This team has too many quality hitters and starting pitchers to be 20-17 vs this atrocious schedule. I do think this is the type of team that matches up well in a double elimination bracket…

8-0. Losing to this team, even once, is pretty bad. I like our starting pitching, though.

Bryant’s defense opening the game up for us. Bryant is better than Butler so I like us going all in to win this.

Reed has hit his free throws in every single game so far. The early UCLA free throws when we otherwise were struggling were massive.

Entertaining series against the only team in this conference that is any good. We go on the road next week, but anything less than 3-1 vs Bryant and Butler would be disappointing. Bryant won’t be a layup…however, Butler was absolutely savaged by a very average Wichita State team earlier this...

Three errors after a drop at first. Would have been safe anyway but…come on… Shaw has pitched great. FOUR ERRORS NOW Almost a 5th but Tirado saves Menzel. Creighton with their own gift with a baserunning mistake and Shaw - the player of the game if we win - escapes with the game tied.

Back to back fielding mistakes to start the 8th that will probably cost us this series. Brutal for Shaw.
