Our last two bowl appearances have been vs an ACC school in Boston and vs a very good Marshall squad. I’m not sweating our opponent in an 8-4 type year.

Harvard is decent and their goalie had to make many incredible saves in the 2nd period to salvage a tie. With that said, while we’re a very competitive team, we look more like a 20-25 type team than a top 10 squad.

The pass rush went from doing nothing vs a CCSU team starting 3 frosh olinemen to a 7 sack day against BC. Interesting.

Goal! 1-0 UConn. Nice shot by Murtagh but that was set up by a perfect pass in transition by a defensive player.

Rice football hasn’t been good since 1950 or so, but their baseball program was UConn basketball-level good for about two decades. We should be blessed to have Dan Hurley running our basketball program because what’s happened to Rice baseball after Wayne Graham retired is just brutal.

ULL is better than us and we play them on the road. Their annoying option offense will torture our beleaguered DL.

It’s not the defense as a whole. The back 8 is mostly fine and I like our DC. We have the worst defensive line in all of college football. That’s not an exaggeration. They are absolutely horrible and are killing this team single-handedly.

Miami being favored by only 7.5 vs Florida was an odd line. The canes are missing some OL guys, but Florida is down DL, too.

FIU is as bad as Ball State. UConn will probably beat FAU as well. Rice is going to THUMP UConn. The Owls are much improved. Air Force has been a disappointment but is, at best, a toss-up.

Watching Fedko live in Memphis right now and they’re pitching him to him like prime Barry Bonds. I have tried to get a video of him smashing a ball, but he has walked three times already and none of the counts have gone past five pitches. :( He had stolen a base though!

Ball State's defense is grusomely bad. Just awful. UNH lighting them up. No excuse not to be 3-1 after the next two weeks.
