I was at Ostia Antica on Sunday and can vouch for how impressive of a site/ruins area it is. Definitely worth 2-3 hours.

Completely agree about the graffiti; really was impossible to ignore. Very crowded this time of year, too, so beware of the pickpockets.

Also, while at a pizza restaurant just outside the Vatican, also caught a UConn Huskies hat...had to give out a "Go Huskies!" which brought the gentleman a big smile.

Yes it is...but this was of the upstate NY variety. Left it alone and let the poor sap enjoy his holiday...

...and during our time in Tuscany, spotted this by the hotel's pool. We are everywhere. :) Wife and I spoke with this couple, who are both UConn alumni. Go Huskies! Even better, someone else on-site was wearing a Syracuse shirt. We took the high road.

Kittles lit us up at Gampel for about 37 or so, too.

Was flying back east from California in 1998 when the good guys had to play UNC in the round of 8. At that time, no internet on the plane or smartphones. Instead, I asked a flight attendant to query the pilot for updates every 5 minutes or so, until he took to the PA system with periodic game...
