28 and 15 from the 5 spot would be a problem for any opponent.

    AP Poll Week #13

And we beat Kansas, Florida, MSU (exhibition), along with BYU, Illinois. Somehow those benefit other programs and are conveniently forgotten. We lost to AZ without 2 starters. They are better until we play again. They rest all have worse losses. The BE isn't the help it usually us but all...

    AP Poll Week #13

There are currently 4 top teams. Az, M, Duke, and UConn. You can put them in any order you'd like but if you are going to spout/split hairs or whatever about Q1 and resumes. You really should look at them first. AZ is undefeated and has the best win (US on the road). Deserving number 1 but...

OT: 2026 UConn Football Commit - Jake Merklinger (Savannah, Georgia)

Until the portal/transfer rules change, everyone should be looked at as a 1-year rental.

You Know Georgetown is in Trouble When…

Sure, but that was 40 years ago. Same level of nostalgia as John Wooden's UCLA teams or the Brooklyn Dodgers.

What do we have returning for '26?

5000 players in the portal. If you can land them you don't need to worry about the ones you inherited unless you like them as players. This season's portal is not the same as previous seasons. Programs aren't losing 4-5 players, they are losing 50.

+/- from our toughest games so far

NERDS! I forget which mojo thread created that. Not worried about it. Guys are going to have off games or bad matchups. Hurley is going to play the hot hand down the stretch regardless. The hot hand will change game to game. Stewart was a better defensive pairing with Mullins who wasn't...

OT: 2026 UConn Football Commit - Shmar Akande (West Park, Florida)

These are great, the portal matters more. Half these HS recruits will probably never start a game for UConn. If they do, that's also great but it's a new world order.

    Mullins questions

He's never faced this level of competition. He'll be fine. You can see the talent. The only way he fails is if he thinks he's good enough now.

UConn 2026 Outbound Portal Transfers (*No transfer speculation until announced/posted*)

We were all looking for a 10th win, but playing allows Candle to evaluate and players who maybe didn't play a lot or will play next season some run.

    Texas Post Game Thread

Not a great backcourt game by anyone but the offense was a lot better in the 1st half with Silas getting the majority of the minutes than it was in the 2nd with Smith getting the majority. That matters, too. For me, there were a lot of what we used to call empty possessions especially in the...

Evan Miya - Player evaluation graph

A healthy Reed is several ticks to the right. I'm assuming that is Ball and Stewart on the low end of the defensive scale?

    Lets talk about....fouls

This made be difficult to understand. We have certain players who can't defend well without fouling. When those players are guards, they put extra pressure on our centers who can't well without fouling. Reed has improved noticeably on this front but when he is up against a larger front line...

Coach Candle Introductory Press Conference 12/8/25 @1230. Streamed live on UConn+

You think so? My reaction was I thought half a million average was low but I wasn't sure if that was just the "official" state salary not including the usual booster fed extras that Coaches get. Didn't we pay RE2.0 and Mora more than that?
