I don’t see an environment where Duke would still be around and once you remove them from the equation, what’s left is not much different from an AAC especially when other AAC schools would probably also backfill.
And ultimately it would be reflected in what tv networks would be willing to pay...
Whatever version is left of the ACC for UConn to join will be reminiscent of the AAC. Also UConn can do this and join the ACC later on if said opportunity was appealing and presented itself.
They did just extend the regular season by 1 game so if you agree to 2 games for each program, it's not a big deal. The 3 floated around above is a lot but of course if this ever came to pass I am sure that's what would actually happen.
Gonzaga, SDST are really the only interesting programs...
If you look up this kids per 40 numbers compared to even the best Tyler O. year you will see the massive gap in skill Oskar has compared to him. Much better at rebounding and blocking shots. More athletic and bouncier.
I was thinking we would hear something yesterday from one of them so gotta think something happens today considering deadline is Monday.
They seem to like to give each guy their moment which would mean Friday, Saturday, Sunday for Bray Solo and Stew.
That's not insider info I really don't know...
It really is that simple and that is what UConn exposed:
They can't shoot from 3
They aren't efficient scoring elsewhere on the floor either
They aren't even good at FTs
They are really good at 1) getting the foul line 2) getting rebounds and 3) forcing turnovers
They need to do all 3 of...
