It sounds like this is it for the fall. Things will change in the spring based on who goes, who stays, who decommits from other schools (e.g. Liam) and who is available in portal.

That's right and I will caveat that pretty much all conference / TV agreements (P4, G6, etc.) are backloaded so for the time being there is marginal increase but over the course of the deal it will materialize.
I agree. Although it does sting to me still not because of the player but rather the time invested by the staff. More of a perception thing even if the reality is he grew up an NCST fan, still doesn't read well to miss out as a Blue Blood to a program run by a glorified bag man.
My guess is the week of October 6. I think it's more or less done, but maybe some last minute items to dot and cross. It usually comes out first week in October so it's a safe bet.
What UConn and specifically the coaching staff is willing to invest financially is going to vary wildly from player to player based on their perceived skill level, fit with the program skill wise and mentally, what the staff is looking for and what the player is looking for (when I say looking...
I think this is mostly it: the only real games that would have any buzz in conference presently are PC, SJU, and Creighton...maybe Villanova (we will see). All of those are weekday except Nova, 2 of them are Gampel and 1 is PBA.
After that it's all the same: Georgetown, DePaul, Butler, Seton...
We won't know till we see the full schedule with tv partners and times but something to consider now partnering with NBC is the Olympics go from Feb 6-22
That's a Big East issue and it has been an issue since UConn joined the Big East. UConn is the draw in the league and so they get shipped out every Saturday to prop up away venues with a likelier chance of upsets for prime TV slots on FOX.
