I agree. Although it does sting to me still not because of the player but rather the time invested by the staff. More of a perception thing even if the reality is he grew up an NCST fan, still doesn't read well to miss out as a Blue Blood to a program run by a glorified bag man.
My guess is the week of October 6. I think it's more or less done, but maybe some last minute items to dot and cross. It usually comes out first week in October so it's a safe bet.
What UConn and specifically the coaching staff is willing to invest financially is going to vary wildly from player to player based on their perceived skill level, fit with the program skill wise and mentally, what the staff is looking for and what the player is looking for (when I say looking...
I think this is mostly it: the only real games that would have any buzz in conference presently are PC, SJU, and Creighton...maybe Villanova (we will see). All of those are weekday except Nova, 2 of them are Gampel and 1 is PBA.
After that it's all the same: Georgetown, DePaul, Butler, Seton...
We won't know till we see the full schedule with tv partners and times but something to consider now partnering with NBC is the Olympics go from Feb 6-22
That's a Big East issue and it has been an issue since UConn joined the Big East. UConn is the draw in the league and so they get shipped out every Saturday to prop up away venues with a likelier chance of upsets for prime TV slots on FOX.
In theory, there are 10 in conference home games so...

This deal, which is not a sublicense (done directly with the conference), will see 25 non-conference men’s basketball games stream on ESPN+ (ESPN’s DTC service is inclusive of ESPN+) starting with the 2025-26 school year. The tonnage within the pact, which was previously with FloSports over the...
They definitely are and it probably has a lot to do with it still being owned by Paul Allen. It's been a similar mess in New Orleans since the owner passed away years ago. Luckily Portland is in the process of being sold by Allen's estate, which took years to get to this point so I think it will...
Knowing how conference deals are structured, I think that basically means someone needs to commit to the PAC-12 in the next 3 weeks before July 1 of this year (unless it was a school not currently in a conference for said sport )
I'm guessing other alternative is an FCS moving up, which...
