How many games have we played at home this year which you think was played in cold weather? Our first game this year was on August 30th. The high that day was 98 degrees. The day of the game against Duke, the high was 56. This narrative that we are a cold weather team is bogus.
In 2024 we went 1-3 against the ACC, losing by 7 or less in the 3 losses, 2 on the road. This year to date we are 2-1, with the only loss in OT on the road. I know it’s not the top of the ACC but I would say we are competitive now and will only improve with a move to P4.

Tabled is a key word here. Back to back (I do want to say solid) up seasons for football and yormark’s desires for Bball and New York may get us to the 12 required votes. Just keep doing what we are doing.
If we are invited to the ACC or B12 the quality of our play will only get better and sell outs will become the norm again. I hope we can get another win against the P4 in a bowl this year. I’d welcome an opportunity to go 3-1 this year. Maybe we can get traded and end up in the Pinstripe bowl...
I also did not like the Duke players early on giving the double thumbs down after a positive play, and doing it in our guys faces. I got the sense the team did not like it either, which quickly led to the verbal escalation on both sides.
