The more and more we hear from this staff and others who have witnessed what we have here - it just further cements to me at least that Randy Edsall just wasn’t as interested in the job the 2nd go around. It was a retirement plan.

I agree 110% with that. Mora is well connected and brings an instant credibility back to UConn. Also his energy about this challenge is intense which is phenomenal. He knows this can work, and we can win here.

What’s nuts is like that 2010 roster almost all of those kids had shots in the NFL/tryouts/CFL, etc too.

Thinking Mora keeps Spanos as DC, Mazzone as OC. What about these roles, can Mora bring in new talent for Football Operations, and Player Personnel Director for recruiting? Assuming yes, since looks like both the guys in the current staff are Randy hires.
