DT and her merry band of non AA! She singlehandedly willed those teams to consecutive Nattys with no other AA on the roster either year. No other championship teams had so few AA as the '03 and '04 teams. They definitely played above their playing weight and I am so happy they did!!

Why does it make your head scratch? Last year's OOC schedule included such schools as Boston University, Fairleigh Dickinson, and Holy Cross.

Me too. 2017 was going to be a five-peat because there was NO way SC was going to beat UConn in the Championship game. However, that little Ms. Williams from Mississippi St. had something to say about it with her buzzer beater!! ;)

Why? She left the team less than a semester into her true Freshman year (We know she attended earlier than she was supposed when she graduated early, but she did not play.

It will be 15...We had 14 on the roster last season and then lost PB, Chen, Aubrey and Q (transfer)...we have Gandy, Kelis, Blanca and now Serah to replace the four we lost, so if Heckel commits we will be at 15.

I agree, especially since the talk has been to get Serah Williams. It's almost as if everyone forgets that we just won a NC with a true FRESHMAN post player and a redshirt Freshman center. They are only going to get better, as will Ice too. Those three contributed to beating Beers, Iriafen...

I respectfully disagree. Plenty of No. 1 recruits have gone elsewhere in the last 30 years, it just seems like they all go to UConn. A simple ESPN or google search will reveal how many No. 1 recruits either were not recruited by UConn or chose another school to attend.

I'm not crying, you're crying!!:D This has to be the most gratifying moment for Geno and the coaching staff. When everyone else said he was past his prime, when SC and LSU started to ascend up the wbb ladder, when we had more bodies injured than healthy, when PB's legacy was being questioned...

JANA for the win. Very few of us thought Betts would get 26 points yet we are praising Jana's defense, but here we are. Those were the quietest 26 points I have seen ever in a game. Jana had her family support and showed her dad why she should be on the National team. Just a great defensive game...
