"Absent" Karaban was our 2nd best player and scored 22 on efficient 9-16. I disagree with your assessment on him. He was vital this game.
Robin to Reed's Batman.
The three isn't going down for any of our guys right now which is concerning.
NIL started in 2021. In the 2023 NCAA tourney, FDU pulled one of the biggest upsets in sports history and defeated Purdue 63-58.
While I do believe NIL and the portal currently make the upsets more sparse, I'm not going to look at a 2 year sample size and start believing it is the new norm...
I like him, but i still don't think he's cut out for high major play. We shut him down hard in the 2nd half.
He would be better then Millender or Malachi though, that's for sure.
Something tells me he doesn't want to come here and be Silas's backup. He wants to be the focal point for a team.
And there were guys on the Michigan boards saying Tarris Reed wouldn't even be a starter for the current Michigan team. Blasphemy.
What an all-time performance from Tarris.
That 3 offensive rebound possession towards the end of the game was its own dagger. Must have been absolutely crushing...
Averaging a double double this year which is nothing to scoff at for a 2nd year center. Seems to be getting stronger, and his touch at the 3 point line is really starting to develop.
One of the reason's i'm nervous. Hopefully we aren't the 1 crazy upset that seems to happen every year.
I do think Cal Baptist will give Kansas a run, hopefully they are the WTF game.
St. John's is winning. People here overestimate their "built only for the BE". They were a top 5 pre-season team that struggled to gel early.
Fact is, they have a HOF coach and talented players. With the way Duke played, I can see St. John's knocking them off too.
St Mary's outclassed again. Wouldn't be surprised if Gonzaga gets tested tonight too. The WCC is a joke of a conference. How they get the same respect as the Big East baffles me.
Silas non call foul
This has been a foul in basketball since the game was created. Just because it was clean on the ball, doesn't make it less of a foul.
Honestly there is argument it should of been a Flagrant 1. But it is for sure a common. The push in the back and the forearm to the face...
Florida got smoked by Vandy like we did against St. Johns.
Generally curious, are Florida flans as negative towards their team after that loss as we are here?
