That's a good point. He had trouble contesting anything without fouling. The staff wanted him to become the next Clingan, but Reibe saw himself as more of a Dirk.

Wilkins showed he has the goods to play at a high level. If that means losing an unknown quantity like Junior County then so be it.

Interesting. I don't think Uconn has ever switched to a zone defense this year, I highly doubt Danny switches strategies now. Maybe he will throw it in for a possession or two.

IMO and maybe it's obvious, but this game has to be played in the 60's or low 70's for Uconn to have a chance. We can't run up and down with Michigan. Duke beat this Michigan team 68-65. That should be the only gametape Uconn watches in prep for this game. How did Duke slow them down?

It was a terrible call designed to keep Illinois in the game. There were a few others in the 2nd half.

The refs wanted to keep Illinois in it. They went on a 9 minute FG drought while going on a 10-0 run. Ridiculous. Also, my only real complaint was Dan icing the starters in the 2nd half. He got to cute with the lead and went with the bench lineup for 2 minutes 2 long. The starters came in cold...
