    Alex Karaban Appreciation Thread

It was easy to tell the casuals from the truly knowledgeable fans based upon how they rated Alex. Absolute god-tier screener & cutter, whose off-ball movement opened up so much for the rest of the team even when he was the clear fifth option. God I hope he lands with an NBA team that...

I really hope Mullins comes back

Meh, we've seen more and more guys stay an extra year since NIL. And some of the smarter drafting teams – Memphis being the most obvious, as they've taken Edey, Cam and Coward in the past two drafts – are no longer prioritizing youth as much as talent + fit, irrespective of age. Bet they take...

Post Game Thread - Thank You, Alex, Tarris, and Malachi

Would sell my soul for Tarris & Alex to end up on the Celtics. I don't think I'd ever get tired of rooting for those guys. Proud to be a Husky. Hell of a showing against a buzzsaw of a team. EDIT: And shoutout Malachi, too. Saved his best work for the tourney.

God this makes me happy. Shabazz is my favorite-ever Husky, and for him to be part of it like this after he missed the past couple (he was still playing in Europe) feels so good. I love our program, man. We're so lucky.

Was that the biggest shot in UConn history

I think we can call Braylon's "The Moon Shot," because Tate's will always be The Shot.

    Tarris Reed

Highly valued, but not because of their post-up games. Rim protection, rebounding, screening are the big ones. If you check those three boxes and can add any ancillary skills (defensive switchability, vertical spacing, shooting range, post-up game), you'll be in the league for a decade.

To this point, this is the: First time we've ever made the tournament six-straight times. Second time we've won a game four-straight times (record is five, from 02 to 06) Most tournament wins we've recorded over any four-year span. This isn't just our best-ever run, but the best four-year...
