Since this has devolved into another conference realignment thread, here's a serious question (Seriously. Not trying to be snarky.): Would you rather be Gonzaga or Syracuse? I don't know the answer. I think short-term, it would be nicer to be Gonzaga, but in the long term I would have to imagine...
A little OT, but I was trying to think of a good comparison for Sarah (other than a 6’ 9” Steph Castle with a better jump shot), and it occurred to me that the way she controls the game reminds me of Zinedine Zidane. You youngsters might not get it, but that’s high praise, even if it makes no sense.
I was thinking about this the other day. As college hoops fans, we're kind of like the U.S. after World War II, in that we throw our whole-hearted support behind any teams we vanquish, a la Japan and Germany. Thus, this season, I'm a big fan of BYU, Illinois, Kansas and Florida ... at least...
