In my car in a parking lot listening on the radio because the game wasn’t televised. Went running inside all excited, only to find that CBS (or whoever) switched to the UConn game for the last few minutes, and I missed it.
Do anyone else’s dogs come over and offer sympathy when you’re yelling at the TV? Mine will come see what’s wrong with me and then vacate the living room for the duration of the game to get away from me.
Wow. I actually called this on this board months ago (could look it up, but I’m lazy), but didn’t really think it would happen. Great coach. The Big East will be diminished by his absence.
It wouldn’t bother me if announcers said, “presence of mind,” when that’s what it is. So many of these idiots say, “wherewithal,” instead. No! Wrong word. Stop saying it
Who cares? We beat a 16 or we beat a 15, and then it’s like Danny said: “And the thing about UConn is, once we get out of that first round, we think we're supposed to win it.”
