Just wait until all the alternate history theorists come out and say no matter what our result against Syracuse is, that Joey would have done better or that Nick would have done worse.
It’s gotten harder and harder to think that Evers is the solution for us but I continue to believe in Jim...
I don’t understand why this hasn’t become more of a story. A head coach and one of the faces of a major state university said the quiet part out loud and called out a P4 conference for horseshittery and it just falls by the wayside?
Certainly possible. Another potential explanation is differences in opponent. Maybe Duke’s defence was better prepared / able to stop those. Obviously Merrimack was not.
Absolutely I’m curious and I’m not sure why it hasn’t happened. In theory, as a better running threat, those passes should work better with Evers but I haven’t seen as many of those calls from Sammis with Evers at QB.
Already said above (or in another thread) that the play to Buckman was...
I’ll stick to Aussie Rules if you stick to Zoos.
Different strokes for different folks - you seem enamored with Fagnano and think Evers is dogshit. I think Fagnano has inflated numbers from passing against incompetent defenses (see Merrimack) and from great plays made by his receivers. As for...

Fagnano made an awesome play to Buckman and thank goodness he did but as others have said, his yardage is mostly...
On the Sheffield TD do you really think that Joe’s throw was what made any material difference to the play? It was a quick flare and he delivered it fine but Sheffield basically made 2-3 great moves afterwards to get yards and I think it was Buckman making a great block that sprung him.
As many others have said, that’s probably an INT against a decent secondary, throwing into tight double coverage. It was a great catch by Porter though.
