UConn didn't even have the ball to begin this play, yet still hit a deep game winning three. Much more improbable than "the shot".

UConn has now beaten Duke for a National Championship, in the Final Four and in the Elite Eight. That is all.

I had a premonition that UConn was going to win the game on a heave, but I quickly dismissed it. This shot, hit by an amazingly talented freshman who had struggled a bit, is beyond storybook, especially given the opponent, who was damn good by the way. WOW!

He continues to improve and become a more complete player as evidenced by going 4 for 4 from the line down the stretch last night. His stats for points and rebounds have to be among the best of all players in the tourney. He will be drafted.

To put it in perspective, Hurley has as many NCAA Tournament wins in the last 10 days as Ed Cooley has in 20 years as a Head Coach. We are blessed to have a guy with unmatched passion and determination.

Seeing Clingan put up 21 points, 15 rebounds and 6 blocks made me wonder what the best overall game in the NBA by a Center from UConn has been. I know Adama had a 20/20 game. I'm sure Emeka had some worthy games to consider... thoughts?
