    Looking for Lobster Roll recs

Captain Scott’s in New London, but the only way it’s not crowded on a Saturday afternoon in June is if it’s pouring rain.

ESPN Way Too Early Top 25: UConn #4

Yes! So many emboldened Purdue fans based on their turnout. Best feeling ever watching them get quiet and slump in their seats as the lead kept growing.

    Possible match up vs BYU

Total no brainer, especially since it’s not at the expense of home games. She either doesn’t understand there will be just as many home games, or she’s totally missing the big picture. Or both.

Best UCONN player without a Championship?

Bascom and as much as I love Edwards it’s not even close.

We Are The Champions Post Game Thread

Saw quite a few of those shirts in the arena and ran into Azzi’s parents on our way out. They were super excited and rightfully very proud!

2025 Recruiting: Amarri Monroe: UConn in final 6

If the only reason you recruited him was because he was a five star high school All American…

    Sarah Strong

For sure she’s the most skilled and fundamentally sound at this point in her career. 22 and 8 from a freshman in the final four is unreal, nevermind the lockdown defense she plays. Special.

    Connecticut 2025 All State Teams

Same with the mid 90s to early 2000s, although my one good friend who went to SBs played hockey, and most other schools in southeastern CT didn’t have a team.

    Oklahoma post game thread

Yes Karaban came up big and Ball too down the stretch. There was a long lull in the middle of the second half where no one looked like they wanted the ball, and then Solo started hunting his shot. Had a few big defensive stops too.

    Comparing the Big Three

I agree it appears to be more of a comfort thing. I listen to all of the postgame pressers and would never use the word boring to describe hers, especially her interactions with Geno and her teammates. I get what’s being referred to but the word choice makes me cringe.

Yes. His rebounding alone far outweighs the bad and at times he’s unstoppable on the block. He needs touches.

    Villanova post game thread

I didn’t either but like him and think we need a larger sample size to judge what his role longer term looks like. That time he picked up his dribble at halfcourt was bc he was bumped twice by the defender in literally his first minute handling the ball in over a month. He proceeded to pass out...

    Villanova post game thread

I don’t feel that way about Stewart either. I would love to see him play to his ability bc we’d be a much better team if he did, and agree with others he has a lot in his bag. I just don’t think what’s lacking is a freedom to play through mistakes. He’s seventh on the team in minutes and over...

UCONN vs. SC post game thread (merged)

My thoughts exactly, rebounding. We shot the ball unbelievably well, of course, but no one out rebounds South Carolina like that.

Maybe the Guttiest Regular Season Win under Hurley?

I thought of this same game when I saw the thread title. Sure, Hurley was tossed in the first half, but the win was still one of the guttiest of his era as coach. The job Kimani did in the second half was impressive and RJ was clutch down the stretch. Beat a top 10 Jay Wright coached team. Best...
