I'm not sure. Maybe Azzi is on the wall in the Werth Center as MOP of the Final Four. Or Meghan was jumping the gun that Azzi will no doubt be an All-American this year and earn her way into the HOH at Gampel.

UConn has never seemed to get live events like this right. I was also watching on UConn+ when the screen went dark and stayed dark. I tried to quickly pull it up on FB, but missed some of Ice's presentation. Audio kept cutting in and out.

I feel so bad for Ice. Injuries have adversely impacted her college career, but I will fondly remember how she saved our BE tournament run after Aaliyah broke her nose.

Even though we don't need her against BE teams, it's still a little concerning that she's been out for this long.

That's the women's standard for number retirement. I'm not sure if the standard is the same for the men.

I think the voters have been looking for any reason to drop us. It was hard to before because we were still winning, but now they can feel more justified in penalizing us for our "closer and more difficult than they should've been" wins against weaker BE teams. I wouldn't be surprised to see us...

I saw that too. I'm hoping keeping her out tonight is purely precautionary.

She's probably the fittest player on the team, which allows her to play extended minutes without a let-up in her defensive intensity.

Gandy does go through warmups with the team. At the GU game, only Ice and Morgan didn't participate.

The October snowstorm of 2011. It certainly wasn't the most snow we ever got in CT, but the personal impacts were the worst. We had no power for a week, lost all our refrigerated/frozen food, lived in a house that got down to 46 degrees, lost some trees. It was brutal.
