Given how broken up Jaylin is with making the decision to transfer, I just can't see him going to a BE team where he'd have to play us at least twice. I don't think he'd want to do that.
Priority now needs to be getting a more than serviceable backup C and PG. Foul trouble and injuries happen. Look at how much we had to depend on Reibe and Malachi at times this past season.
Wish Stew the best wherever he ends up. We could always count on him for a 3 and some critical rebounds. I understand his wanting more PT, but will miss him.
That doesn't seem to be scaring off NBA GMs. They're evaluating the quality of his shots and probably cutting him some slack for his ankle injury and concussion.
I don't think he's staying. With Solo as an example - he had a good shooting year his soph year and then got hurt and never really found his stroke his jr yr. There are no guarantees that won't happen to Braylon next yr. Braylon will go b/c he's attractive to the NBA now.
I'm happy to see that Tarris finally realized that he could be a teddy bear off the court and a grizzly bear on the court. I totally appreciate and enjoy the 2 sides of his personality.
Thank you, Alex. The team won't be the same without you. You gave everything you had for 4 years and provided the stability, smarts, effort, and calmness that the team needed.
You will be sorely missed.
We have to play at our pace and not allow ourselves to get sped up.
We have to limit TOs. UM will punish us in transition.
Our bench has to come ready to play and stay out of foul trouble. Hurley can't put 4 subs and a starter in all at once like he did yesterday.
We have to hit 3s.
We can't...
I watched our game last night, but skipped the 2nd game. The scores in those 2 games resemble HS game scores. That was from the 4 best teams in the country. Are you kidding me???
Regardless of the FT discrepancy, we could've won that game if we shot and rebounded better. Too many missed...
People I know who aren't into college basketball have all seen the shot, whether on local/national news, or social media feeds. They wouldn't be able to tell you Braylon's name, but they all know how UConn won.
It wasn't a head butt and shouldn't be referred to that way. That just makes it click bait. It was incredibly loud in the arena after Braylon hit the shot, so maybe they just needed to be that close to hear each other.
