UConn is going Bowling > Wasabi Fenway Bowl v. Army (Saturday 12/27/25 @2:15 on ESPN)

Cool thing to have but Fenway buys that stuff by the ton every year!

UConn is going Bowling > Wasabi Fenway Bowl v. Army (Saturday 12/27/25 @2:15 on ESPN)

Appreciate the insight. I find it interesting how dependent DraftKings and FanDuel are on ESPN. I am guessing the action on a game varies greatly if you can or can't watch the game. ESPN controls so much of that market segment. A lot of people can't watch a game without having action on...

UConn is going Bowling > Wasabi Fenway Bowl v. Army (Saturday 12/27/25 @2:15 on ESPN)

In the article it lists No. 80 John Neider as a back-up for WR and as a back-up for Right Tackle. Is that really the case? He is listed at 205 lbs.

UConn is going Bowling > Wasabi Fenway Bowl v. Army (Saturday 12/27/25 @2:15 on ESPN)

Went to college with a person with a who had a real gambling problem, he was betting on spring training baseball and later AAA baseball. The bowls though close to obsolete will linger due to betting. ESPN is showing odds on every game from Draft Kings. They both need these games to generate...

2026 UConn Football Commit - Logan Barnes (Marion, Indiana)

Rules have changed a lot since I was in High School, but had a classmate who did track and baseball. A couple of times on the same day. Massachusetts rules later changed to not allow a player to complete in two sporting events in the same day. A college friend played basketball and indoor...

    Bowl Opt Out Tracker

Most schools have started classes by January 15th. Most appear to be starting January 12th, some earlier. Tough to get "student athletes" on campus for spring classes when the portal doesn't open until January 15th.

OT: Natural Grass Stadiums - N.E.

Google AI review says the biggest. Not sure how baseball fields compare to football fields but there are a lot of baseball facilities. The largest natural grass facility in New England is widely reported to be Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Connecticut. Rentschler Field, primarily known...

Dom Amore: Joe Fagnano has taken his last snap for UConn football, now he’s aiming for the NFL

You do realize that Candle is not coaching Toledo in their bowl game? He did ask his assistant's to stay with the team through the bowl game.

QB Joe Fagnano headed to the East-West Shrine Bowl (1/27/26 Frisco, Texas)

There is absolutely nothing that Skylar can do at the Fenway Bowl that will enhance his draft status, nothing. Teams are not going to look at one game, they are going to look a the last season and probably the last two seasons of film. Every catch, every drop, what he does when he isn't...

    CIAC bans Mike DiMauro

I am guessing that the CIAC hasn't been happy with him for a while. He has been very critical of them in my limited experience. This gave the CIAC and excuse to stick it to him. I know very little of the CIAC but am reasonably familiar with Massachusetts version, MIAA. They are a deplorable...

OT: Moore out - Manuel next?

Guessing Warde was also fired with cause so the 5 year extension is meaningless.

UConn is going Bowling > Wasabi Fenway Bowl v. Army (Saturday 12/27/25 @2:15 on ESPN)

Holy Cross played Georgetown at Fenway a few weeks back. There were also a number of high school football games played at Fenway during Thanksgiving week. The field has been set up for a while.

Any word on a new HC @ UConn yet?

Yes, JMU had been going extremely well. However, when Cignetti left for IU he took a lot of JMU's talent with him. Chesney did a very good job of keeping the program headed in the right direction.

Tailgate Menu for UAB Blazers Game...

I like to bring a spiral sliced ham to a potluck. Very easy to prepare and pretty much everyone likes ham.
