Really only need 2 applications. Early spring pre-emergent to help with weed control , then early June. Once summer hits, too dry and heat stress will only hurt the lawn. Having said that, I did do a fall application the past 2 years (day before expected rain) because of our dry spell...

Wife and I just had a 2 night stay at a BNB on the Cape and oddly enough we were the only guests. It was fantastic with a high quality breakfast. Had the place to ourselves. Staying Mon & Tue must be the way.
