How Did We Win (one day later)

FCF: TY for your MOJO. I'm sure it helped. :-)

How Did We Win (one day later)

As a UConn 2x alum, and you being a Bulldog, I especially like the "we" in your post. ;-) Not sure how you remember all the details you always seem to remember, but I always look forward to and appreciate your comments and insights. Thank you.

Quick AI Summary of the Cuse Post Game Thread

Not to go down too deep of a rabbit hole here but, is the data used in the AI models cited above de-duped in any way, i.e. by BY poster or IP address? In other words, if I posted 100 times under one or multiple screen names that yesterday's loss meant nothing and UConn will be ranked in the FBS...

    UConn Football Fall Camp 2025

The interviews with these young men and coach Mora are so inspiring and gratifying, especially as an alum. Feeling very optimistic about the season right now. My wife and I plan to be at the Rent for the FIU game, traveling first from DFW-BDL to visit our son on ACK for opening day of...

The expanded College Football Playoff off to a rough start

Not surprised by the anti-UT sentiment here but, unless I'm mistaken (I definitely could be), it wasn't that long ago that the two AZ schools were rumored to have helped convince the B12 DMs not to add UConn.

    2025 Schedule

Yup. My daughter was married at the Broadmoor. Iconic hotel and location. Took a few years to get my bank account back in shape though.

    2025 Schedule

If we play AFA in Colorado Springs I hope it’s after a bye week and/or the team gets out there a little early to adapt to the 7,258’ altitude. In my experience, even as a much younger man in pretty good shape, it takes a day or two.

I was going to comment in the game chat that I thought the refs did a great job today. They did.

Ivy League Football to FCS Post-Season Play in 2025

I was there at The Game as well. Still have my commemorative 100th Game, Beat Harvard painter's hat, slightly cracked and yellowed with age like it's current owner.

UConn @ Syracuse Orange (Saturday 11/23/24 @Noon @JMA Wireless Dome). Game on the ACC Network. Audio on UConn Varsity Network & FOX Sports 97.9 FM

Taking all the emotions of it and considering the health and future (i.e. post season) prospects of our current stable of QBs, starting JF this week is the right call. He's also earned it.

The View From Section 241 — Rice

Great summary BL, as usual. However, I can't imagine hosting a tailgate for 11, let alone a bunch attorneys who want to help. There's at least one joke in there but glad you got through it all. Watching the game on TV from TX, I have to agree with you on the quality of play, or lack...

UConn v. Rice University Owls (Saturday 10/26/24 @ 3:30p @ Rentschler Field). Game on CBSSN. Audio on Varsity Network & FoxSports 97.9

And after 4 games, the RF turf looks fantastic, both on the playing field and all the way around it to the stands! Love our UConn ag heritage showing off there! :-)

Tailgating w/ Coach Cap - Rice Edition

Best beer in TX in my opinion is Shiner, made in Shiner, TX which is about halfway between Houston and San Antonio. If you can find Shiner in CT right now it may be their Octoberfest which is great. But if you happen to find any of their Prickly Pear blend, which is rare even here in TX and...

    Buffalo Post Game Thread

I'm pulling for CW, and the other QBs as well, but from the brief TV takes I've seen after the last two games, I've noticed CW doesn't seem to share in the team camaraderie. Maybe feeling a little left out or uncertain about his future? This kid has moved from Washington State to TX to CT over...
