Alex was always the fifth best player on our national championship teams. It was unfair to put all this pressure on him to deliver another championship. He is a great complementary player not a leading role player.

I think if we come off of this Nova win with confidence and have impressive wins to end the season, we will be a tough out. If we stumble in any of these three games and revert to low shooting percentages, we are doomed. Confidence is the fuel going into tourny season.

Ill be watching, but this is a big time schedule and we are not playing or being coached well right now. Just being realistic.

With the way we are playing and 2X Xavier, Marquette, SJU, Villanova and Seton Hall upcoming.....we are in trouble. We be looking at 15-11 after that part of the schedule. With GT, Creighton and Depaul to close it out. We are looking at 17-12 or 18-11. NIT Time.

I don't think the 80 year olds in the money seats at our games can move like that.

we play half off our scheduled games on a uncomfortable opponents court. If we dont take advantage of all the advantages we could get, we wont be playing in March.

The XL in the 90's was a totally different beast. Sold out games, 15k in the arena, the place was rocking! The reason? We had a product that was just starting to gain momentum. The excitement was in the air that UConn may compete for a national championship. Something that CT has never...

They want to keep the XL to keep Hartford alive....It will take more than UConn basketball to do that.

The venue does matter. Site lines could be off, the floor has a different bounce, rims may be too tight ect....also the venue and the fans are our sixth man. Would you rather play in a arena that you practice on daily and feel comfortable on while filled with screaming student fans or the XL?

Cole didnt have his legs tonight. The first two drives of the game by Cole came up short, front rimmed. He looked tired.
