I think it's worth bifurcating the portal into two sections....the transfers driven by NIL (the top players) and the other group of kids who just want more playing time.

I am biased of course, but I think she might find a comfortable home at Cal. Good, supportive cultural community here beyond the court and the Bay Area. She sounds like a very skilled player. Former Cal player Yue Chen had a similar background. She was first ever NCAA D-1 player from China...

She kinda did the same when Anigwe was at Cal....everything went through her to the detriment of the overall team. When she bailed (late) from Cal the team had sort of disintegrated...She is a very nice person though. Always liked her aside from being disappointed in the way she left.

Sorry, but this is lousy. What about an institution's commitment to a player? This young woman wanted to graduate from Kentucky apparently. This is ridiculous.
