Grew up in New Britain, spent 22 1/2 years in military, four years active in Navy, 12 years in Ct. National Guard and 6 1/2 years in Navy Reserve. Spend most of my year in Florida. Retired from GE in Plainville after 36 1/2 years. Started following UConn basketball in 1955 or so, on the radio. Really started obsessing following UConn NIT championship run. Started following the women Huskies in 1993 or so.
