Seems like a 3 team race for the 1 seed between UConn, Iowa St. and Houston. Outside shot for Purdue.

I would agree on the biggest game since Nova came in 22.

Right now our 3 best wins are Illinois, Florida, and Kansas, with the first 2 on a neutral court, and the 3rd at Kansas. Iowa St's 3 best wins are at Purdue, Kansas at home (split with them) and Houston at home. I'd give a UConn a slight edge but it's very close. Houston's 3 best wins are...

I also liked that they said head to head was a factor when they originally ranked Iowa St ahead of Houston. That helps if we get close to Illinois or Florida for seeding. Hurts us with Arizona, but I think they are ahead of us by a decent margin at this point.

Another thing that helped us. That was only the 3rd time Nova has played in that building this season. Willard even mentioned this to Katz.

Couple of thoughts. If we can get that kind of production from our bench, we are at the level of the elite teams this year. Best win of the season with what we have coming up on Wednesday. Didn't want to play them on a 2 game losing streak.

I don't disagree. That being said, Hodge and Askew were a combined 7-10 from 3 in the first matchup. I don't know that we will see that again.
